If it had been someone else, Nora's threat might well have worked. Unfortunately, he had encountered Lin Xiao. He did not need any recognition or inheritance at all—he only needed to catch her.

The Creation Cube slowly rotated. With every turn, Lin Xiao could feel a pure surge of soul power mixed with an unknown fluctuation pouring into his Sea of Consciousness. At the same time, the soul power contained an incomparably profound Time Law fluctuation, which echoed back and forth within the Sea of Consciousness formed by the shell of his Crystal Wall System origin, throwing his thoughts into utter chaos as time flowed.

Rather than refining it through his usual methods, he directly refined Nora and the Time Power she wielded in one go, absorbing them outright.

The soul power was one thing. He had absorbed plenty of that before. Although the soul power Nora had accumulated was powerful, it was not particularly remarkable to him, so he absorbed and refined it directly.

The most crucial part was the Time Power. Even with the Creation Cube separating it completely from Nora's soul, it was still difficult to capture.

Fortunately, his soul shell was the shell of a Crystal Wall System's origin core, one that had once contained the origin will of an enormous Crystal Wall Universe. Only then could it contain this Power of Time. Had it been an ordinary powerhouse at his level, they might not even have been able to sense it.

Time was formless and intangible. Without reaching that level of strength, one could not even sense it.

Ordinarily, Lin Xiao's strength did not qualify him to come into contact with it either. But with the Creation Cube and the Crystal Wall System origin shell, everything became possible.

He did not even need to deliberately
