True Underworld Council and the Succession

The organization Zhu Lien belonged to was called the True Underworld Council, and its original founder was the True Underworld Progenitor.

Before the True Underworld Progenitor became a Progenitor, he had competed with another powerful existence close to becoming a Progenitor for an opportunity to attain that realm. He had recruited a large number of Spirit Domain Children from the Spirit Domain Main World and brought them to this world. Later, the True Underworld Progenitor successfully advanced to become a Progenitor, but this faction did not disband. Instead, it grew ever stronger.

Through the True Underworld Progenitor's authority, many Spirit Domain Children descended into the Wizard World while retaining their memories, scattering across different worlds.

Many people, including Zhu Lien, did not believe that the True Underworld Progenitor intended to conquer and subjugate the Wizard World. That was simply impossible, even for a Progenitor.

As the most powerful world discovered by the many Divine Domain Civilizations of the Chaotic Void Sea, the Wizard World possessed numerous Progenitors. Even if all the currently discovered Divine Domain Civilizations were tied together, they might not be able to defeat it. Zhu Lien guessed that the True Underworld Progenitor's most likely purpose was to search for the great enemy who had once competed with him for the chance to become a Progenitor.

Of course, a guess was only a guess. Even if most Spirit Domain Children had figured this out, they had no interest in specifically searching for him. How could they possibly come into contact with an existence of that level? They were far more interested in using the channels opened by the True Underworld Progenitor to grow in the Wizard World.
