The Great Enemy Emerges

The battle between the two Great Divine Powers and the masters ended after Lin Xiao and the Insect Race Monarch determined the victor. When he defeated his opponent and dismantled and refined even the opponent's Divine Domain in the void, two uncertain cries of surprise rang out from the void. Then, the light filling the sky receded like a tide, and the Insect Race fleet vanished with it.

His father-in-law stared at Lin Xiao in astonishment, then solemnly bowed to him.

Lin Xiao calmly accepted the bow.

Of course, it was not for himself. He accepted it on Tisha Er's behalf.

Earlier, when the Insect Race Monarch had suddenly unleashed an attack containing the power of an Insect Race master within the Divine Domain, he had relied on Tisha Er to block it. That could not be concealed from the two great beings standing so close by.

Xia Yunzhe did not ask about Tisha Er's origins. When it came to beings of their level, unless she chose to reveal herself, they would not take the initiative to inquire into one another's backgrounds.

Still, his father-in-law was certainly immensely curious. The number of experts at their level was limited. Every Great Divine Power or similar great being encountered by the Human Divine Domain Civilization had been recorded. So long as humanity had come into contact with them, they would be documented, including master-level experts from other Divine Domain Civilizations.

After all, every expert at the great level possessed the power to alter the overall balance of strength between Divine Domain Civilizations. The Insect Race master had turned and fled without hesitation the moment it sensed Tisha Er's presence, mainly because it feared being kept there.
