Let me post a standalone chapter to ask for monthly votes!
I'd forgotten how long it had been since I last posted a standalone chapter asking for votes. It must have been a very long time ago—probably measured in years.
Truthfully, I hadn't really wanted to post this kind of standalone chapter. Not because I was putting on airs, nor because I didn't want monthly votes.
It was because the monthly vote rankings these days were too terrifying. Tens of thousands at a time, even over a hundred thousand—just looking at those numbers was frightening. Authors mentioned it when chatting too; it had scared off so many writers, and I was intimidated as well.
The readers were incredibly enthusiastic, organizing votes and constantly throwing down monthly-vote red packets. I said there was no need; it felt like such a waste of money, and I felt a little guilty about it.
Yet their enthusiasm did not fade. They even repeatedly shouted in the group for me to post a standalone chapter asking for votes.
They had a point too. It was no use relying on only a few of them to organize things—I needed to be more proactive myself and seek support from more people.
I'm thin-skinned by nature. They made me too embarrassed to refuse, so I shamelessly posted this standalone chapter to ask for votes.
I didn't know whether posting a standalone chapter to ask for votes would have any effect.
But since I'd opened my mouth, there was no need to put on airs.
Please vote monthly tickets!
Covering my face as I beg for monthly tickets!
Rolling all over the floor as I beg for monthly tickets!
