It was late at night, so I'll keep this simple and copy it again:
I'd never seriously competed for the rankings before.
After finally trying once, I'd temporarily made it to first place on the monthly ticket rankings.
It'd be awkward if I got knocked down in the last two days.
I hadn't planned to compete at first, either. It was only after everyone got fired up that I realized it, but I started too late. I hadn't even asked for the guaranteed monthly tickets, and people had already used up most of their spare votes early on, leaving me with no steam to follow through.
Meanwhile, those behind me were making a push during the double-ticket period, chasing hard and fast.
I need the support of old comrades, new friends, and everyone!
I'd basically been posting extra chapters every day this month, and I'd nearly burned through all my passion. I can't write any stirring words anymore.
So I'll get straight to the point.
