"Su Zhao" stood beneath the tree, supporting herself against its trunk.

Even with something to lean on, she could barely stand. Fearing she might escape, the cultivators had placed restrictions on her that left her limbs weak and unable to flee. Cultivators were also watching her.

A look of worry occasionally surfaced on her face as her bright eyes gazed toward Eastern River.

She had discerned the direction of this transfer. They were moving toward Yan Kingdom and should not be far from Eastern River now.

"What exactly is your name?"

The familiar question brought her back to herself. Turning around, she saw Yuan Gang standing before her. Still calm, she stubbornly clung to that name. "Su Zhao!"

She did not know what it meant to Yuan Gang for someone with her face to claim her name was Su Zhao. Yuan Gang suddenly struck, clamping a hand around her throat. His muffled voice carried fury. "Speak! What is your real name?"

Her throat was being squeezed, and he was so strong that she could not possibly speak. "Su Zhao" weakly slapped at his arm, unable to break free. Her face flushed crimson from his grip, as though she were about to suffocate.

Yet Yuan Gang ultimately did not let her suffocate. He released her.
