Zhu Qingling thought of those three Spirit Springs again when she saw this.
The three Spirit Springs had been openly placed here by the God of Death. It seemed they were meant to nourish these Totoros.
One Totoro probably wouldn't need all three Spirit Springs. But what about a dozen of them?
Still, that would take time.
Several hundred years later.
Only then might these Totoros slowly grow. The God of Death still had a long wait ahead of him.
Zhu Qingling suppressed the complicated thoughts in her heart and gazed at the scenery outside the bus.
The spiritual energy in this world was quite substantial.
But the spiritual energy outside had grown so thin that it was almost impossible to perceive.
It was completely unsuitable for cultivators. Only some martial artists could truly survive there.
No wonder Totoro occasionally ran into this base and stayed for a while. If it spent too long in the human world, it would be polluted. Its Transcendent abilities might even recede, and it would eventually become an ordinary animal.
'Wuu wuu~~'
Totoro let out a couple of cries from time to time. Although its voice was loud, it was exceptionally ethereal and distant.
Listening carefully, Zhu Qingling discovered that the sound contained a unique fluctuation. Only people nearby could hear it. Those farther away couldn't hear it at all, because by the time the fluctuation traveled into the distance, it either vanished or turned into a gust of wind!
How could mortals possibly sense anything unusual?
No wonder it cried so loudly, yet no one noticed anything strange.
Zhu Qingling understood.
Clang!
The Catbus passed through a curtain invisible to the naked eye, leaving the strange world and entering the Real World. Following Zhu Qingling's directions, it flew onward, occasionally stepping on treetops.
