Han Duoduo felt as if she had been struck by lightning. Her face alternated between deathly pale and blood-red, and she was caught in a roller coaster of complicated emotions.
At times, her emotions surged as if shooting into the heavens; at others, her courage cracked with terror as if she were falling into the Abyss.
As danger descended, her entire body turned ice-cold.
As she escaped the danger, it was as if she had been enveloped by warm sunlight.
This tumultuous state of mind caused her feelings toward Ding Ling to undergo another tremendous change in just a few short moments.
Especially after Ding Ling charged forward at full speed and completely left the region covered by the snow waves, her pounding heart finally began to calm down somewhat. Yet the fervor in her heart surged even more violently, unstoppable.
She looked at Ding Ling with blazing, scorching eyes, as if magma were erupting and could melt a person.
"Big Brother, you—you're so strong!"
She had taken the pill and felt that she was incredibly strong, comparable to Superman.
After all, she was unafraid of the Extreme Cold Curse, didn't fear hunger, possessed great strength, and moved quickly... With all these traits combined, wasn't she basically Superman?
Some characters in the stories and tales she had read might not even be as strong as she was. That was the root of her excitement and exhilaration.
Which girl had never had a chuunibyou dream of becoming a hero?
Han Duoduo was no exception.
That said, if she had been facing a snow disaster capable of making the heavens collapse and the earth split apart, she felt she would never have been able to evade it. Death would have been certain.
Yet Ding Ling could traverse, sprint, and leap through the
