Jiang Wu explained that he had sided with the enemy to spare the Jiang Clan’s descendants from the Starry Sky Ancient Road, but Dugu Gui condemned him, leaving the two sides on the verge of a fight.

• Three days after the Northern Domain began moving, its million-strong army gathered before the Mysterious Pass, vastly outnumbering the defenders.
• Lin Wenyue formed the defenders into a Crane Wing Formation as Jiang Wu ordered the Demon-Slaying Army to attack.
