Thick columns of jet-black smoke pierced through every district of the city, shooting straight into the clouds.

More than two-thirds of this plane worshipped the God of Black Mist, while less than one-third worshipped the God of Twilight.

Because settlements throughout the entire plane were centered around cities, and the creatures in nearly every city worshipped the same god.

Thus, intense clashes of faith and conflicts between believers rarely occurred on this plane.

Even if followers of the God of Black Mist and followers of the God of Twilight came into conflict over certain matters, priests from their respective temples—or even divine envoys—would soon step forward to mediate and resolve the dispute.
