In the history of the Yan Emperor Divine Clan, there had not been only one Level-9 Being.
There had been two!
One of them was naturally an ancestor of the First Flame Emperor Clan, the family currently possessing the greatest influence within the Yan Emperor Divine Clan!
The other had emerged from this Ancient Flame Emperor Family!
However, the Level-9 existence born from the Ancient Flame Emperor Family had lived far too long ago.
Now, aside from those Yan emperor-level families that mostly knew of such matters,
ordinary small and medium-sized families without particularly broad connections did not even know the historical name "Ancient Emperor."
They knew only of the "Yan emperor."
They even believed that it had been the ancestor of the First Flame Emperor Family who had brought the Yan Emperor Divine Clan into the ranks of top-level civilizations.
But the truth was, of course, otherwise!
Within the family-dominated Yan Emperor Divine Clan, there were generally all manner of grudges and frictions between the various families and clans.
Even the major factions within the Wizard World often had minor conflicts and clashes of interest.
Not to mention the even more fiercely competitive Yan Emperor Divine Clan.
It could be said that if not for the Evil Tide threat beyond their borders,
these hot-tempered Yan Emperor Divine Clan powerhouses might not have peacefully focused on outward expansion and development.
More likely, they would have devoted part of their attention to infighting.
That Level-9 Yan emperor from the Yan Emperor Divine Clan's history seemed to have suffered suppression from other Yan emperor families during the early and middle stages of his growth, including ostracism from the Ancient Emperor Clan.
In truth, such things were nothing rare in the Yan Emperor Divine Clan.
