Karlmansa had suffered grievous injuries.
A third of the Void Star Meteor had been severed.
Yet these were not the wounds that had hurt the Void Civilization most.
What truly shook the Void Civilization to its foundations was the loss of nearly thirty more void-element Dominators, who fell one after another in the middle and outer reaches of the Demon Realm Battlefield during the ensuing war.
How many Dominators did the Void Civilization have in total?
Even with their considerable number of Dominators, they could hardly withstand losses like these, could they?
The spoils they had previously plundered from the Demon Territory Depths were not enough to offset the heavy price the Void Civilization ultimately paid.
Not only had they been forced to disgorge much of what they had swallowed on the Demon Realm Battlefield, but if the fighting continued like this, the Void Civilization itself would become a juicy prize for others.
After suffering this devastating blow, the Void Civilization once again fled into the distant reaches of space.
This time, the Void Civilization seemed to have truly left.
Karlmansa's grievous injuries, the damage to the Void Star Meteor, and the deaths of so many void-element Dominators had become rather more than this nomadic top-level civilization could bear. They had only wanted to skim off some profit, not wage a fierce civilization war.
As far as the Void Civilization was concerned, they would remain active on this Starry Sky Battlefield as long as there were benefits to reap.
But if there were no benefits, or if the price they paid far exceeded what they could gain... then the Void Civilization had little reason to keep lingering on this civilization battlefield.
The Void Civilization's large-scale withdrawal freed up a great deal of the Immortal Domain Civilization's strength.
