At the very beginning, Crimson Flame Civilization's wartime losses had not been this severe.
What truly caused those losses to spike was the descent of the Dark God Envoy.
His appearance dealt far too great a blow to this Illusory Sea Maze Frontline battlefield and to Crimson Flame Civilization.
In particular, that Level-10 Star Creature, a direct descendant of the Ancestor of Eternal Fire, should not have fallen into captivity and met disaster so easily given its strength.
Yet, amid Crimson Flame Civilization's overall retreat, having lost the Ancestor of Eternal Fire's protection, it was ultimately captured by the Dark God Envoy himself and made into a sacrifice to unfurl the banner.
Nor was that all. During the Dark Universe Time-Space army's subsequent pursuit, Crimson Flame Civilization's two Level-9 Beings were forcibly intercepted by the enemy's Level-10 and Level-11 Beings. In the end, they exhausted themselves to death without even a chance to escape.
Compared to Crimson Flame Civilization's grievous losses, Water Mirror Civilization suffered far less. Their orderly command and dispatch during the legion's retreat allowed them to avoid many deadly impacts.
Moonlight Civilization was an even more exemplary case of "withdrawing unscathed."
Led by the Moonlight Goddess, their main battle legion ran faster than anyone else.
After all, with a special divine artifact like the Moonlight Treasure Box in hand, unless they were surrounded by a great number of Level-11 Beings, or a Level-12 Strong Practitioner directly attacked the Moonlight Goddess,
under any other circumstances, the Moonlight Goddess would have little trouble leading her civilization's light-element legion out of danger.
The fierce battle continued.
In particular, although the five Green Life Great Wall Frontlines constructed by Green Vine Civilization could not halt the Dark Universe Time-Space army's frontal advance, they still slowed the momentum of some enemy legions
