If that fluctuation of power was still a minor matter, then what truly drew attention—and even fear—was the significance and strength represented by the silver emblem itself.

It did indeed belong to a Holy Tower faction, and quite a few of the Black Magicians present knew of it.

The Underdark lay wedged between several ultimate powers.

Those were peak forces of Wizard Civilization, even stronger than ordinary Holy Towers and Knights' Halls. Legendary entities such as True Spirit Towers and Overlord Halls could be found in both of those regions, and there was more than one of each.

To the east and west were places these Black Magicians could not afford to provoke.

Only certain regions to the North Side, along with the endless ocean to the south, were places where these Black Magicians could cautiously operate in their daily lives.

When Moxidu and the others had traveled all the way from the Western Islands to the Underdark, they had in fact taken the sea route.

In recent years, these Black Magicians had mainly been active in the south. Even their recruitment of apprentices and plundering of resources had been carried out discreetly along the southern coast of the Wizard Continent.

They went north as well, only far less frequently, and they rarely ventured deep inside.

The silver emblem in Formal Black Wizard Jieda's hand at that moment was the identification of a Holy Tower
