The first part of the Clear River Time-Space battlefield to collapse was not the front of the Source-Devouring Channel.
It was instead an outer starfield some distance away.
When the Myriad Rivers Ancient Star Civilization received the urgent plea for aid from that warzone, more than a third of the Clear River Allied Legion originally garrisoned there had already lost contact.
The remaining fleets were still retreating.
Vast numbers of water-element warships, dragging their damaged Rules Bodies, hurriedly withdrew from the vicinity of a plane that had already lost its color. Behind them were hundreds of millions of Source-Devouring Beasts.
Those savage creatures maintained neither orderly formations nor any unified use of war weapons.
But they advanced far too quickly!
Especially after some of the Source-Devouring Beasts spread the bright yellow spots across their bodies, the water-element shields and Law Tides released by the nearby Clear River Fleet rapidly dimmed.
Some homeland warships that had originally been able to hold on were soon rammed apart by the pursuing Source-Devouring Beasts after much of their energy had been drained away.
Beyond the plane, the starry void was filled with shattered hulls, the remains of sea beasts, and water-element rules that were rapidly fading.
The Clear River Time-Space had simply been too peaceful in the past.
This Higher Dimensional Plane had naturally experienced Civilization Wars before, but under the mediation of Super Civilizations such as the Myriad Rivers Ancient Star Civilization, many conflicts ultimately never escalated into bloody wars of total extermination.
Much less a genuine Cross-Dimensional Plane War.
Although the Clear River Time-Space had recently, with three Super Civilizations at its core, rapidly assembled an enormously large allied legion, those legions came from hundreds or even thousands of different World Civilizations.
