These veins instinctively drew on the free-floating energy around them, attempting to return to the Source-Devouring Progenitor's projection.
But the successive collapse of two Source-Devouring Nodes had already created a clear break in the supply of origin to this expanse of stars.
For the first time, the Source-Devouring Progenitor's projection could not recover fast enough to keep up with the damage the Destruction Supreme inflicted on it.
Naturally, the Destruction Supreme did not consider what these changes meant.
