Light Universe Time-Space.
Several Homeland Civilization fleets that had just completed their cargo exchanges were leaving a transport zone controlled by the Light God Race.
They had brought materials produced by their respective worlds.
On the return trip, their once-empty holds were full again. Alongside resources suited to Homeland Beings were devices brought in from other Dimensional Planes.
Not all of these goods came from the Light God Race.
But for many Homeland Civilizations in Light Universe Time-Space, trading with the outside world through the Light God Race had become the most familiar way to do business.
After all, many of the distant civilizations they knew and the more reliable transport routes they used had only become accessible after they accepted the Light God Race's leadership.
In one Homeland World awaiting the return of its fleet, a newly built Altar of Light cast a gentle glow.
The settlements nearby still looked much as they always had.
Their inhabitants lived according to their old customs. The goods produced in their workshops, the crops grown on their land, and the everyday dealings among different peoples had not all been swept aside because an altar had appeared.
To them, the most obvious change was indeed their faith!
They now worshipped the Light God Race, but the ones handling most local affairs were still beings who knew their own world.
Ordinary beings had little contact with relations among the higher Dimensional Planes and would have struggled to explain them.
What they could see was newly delivered materials entering the storehouses, aging military equipment being replaced, and living standards across their civilization rising noticeably. Transport crews that had once rarely left their homeworld now made regular trips to nearby worlds.
Not every being benefited immediately from these changes, but the civilization behind them was improving.
