When Jin Yi arrived in the Primordial Universe Time-Space, Venerable Blazing Day was already waiting outside the passage.
With him came a large contingent of follow-up legions from the Eternal Day Time-Space. Blazing radiance continued to pour from the passage, soon bathing the nearby docked transport platforms in dazzling white gold.
These legions did not linger near the passage.
They set off in different directions toward their predetermined positions, relieving some of the forces that had been stationed there for years and unloading the supplies they had brought.
Jin Yi turned his attention straight to the war zone map Venerable Blazing Day had unfolded.
"Here, and here." Venerable Blazing Day pointed to two locations in succession.
"We could originally pass through the middle, but they've reinforced it with quite a few legions in recent years. Even the route we cleared before is difficult to use now."
Irregular patches of darkness lay between several star regions garrisoned by Yongji's Day. Passage was still barely possible in some places, while others now held sword formations powerful enough to threaten large transport fleets.
Jin Yi soon noticed that several seemingly inconspicuous locations happened to connect neighboring defensive lines.
The forces at each individual stronghold were not necessarily overwhelming. But no matter which direction a transport fleet approached from, avoiding them entirely would be difficult.
"Take all of these positions," Jin Yi said.
Venerable Blazing Day looked up at him, then nodded.
Those were the words the front line had been waiting for.
It was not that they had never organized counterattacks. With only the existing garrisons, however, they would often capture one position only to come under attack elsewhere before they could secure it. After several such exchanges, supply fleets still had to take detours through the stars.
Jin Yi's arrival would clearly
