"Who asked you to come help?!" After the battle ended, Saine looked at Nataya with some anger.

What angered Saine was not that he blamed Nataya for coming to help him.

It was that this heavy-handed female knight had slain with a single sword strike the Weird Level-2 Plant that Saine had regarded so highly.

During its earlier battle with Saine, the Weird Plant had already been at an absolute disadvantage.

After Nataya appeared, the flames assailing it from within and without directly stripped the Weird Plant of its last ability to resist.

However, the fundamental reason this Level-2 plant had died was that a crimson greatsword was currently embedded in the very center of its root system.

Saine was naturally familiar with that greatsword.

Back when Nataya had been in Thunderfall World, she had first tossed this thing in front of him.

When she was not in combat, the middle of the greatsword was black, while its sharpened edges on both sides were silver.

But once Nataya entered combat, especially after she infused the blade with her battle qi, the entire greatsword would turn crimson, with waves of flame surging from it.

Nataya truly was a Level-2 Earth Knight with extraordinarily rich combat experience.

Once she developed killing intent toward the Weird Plant, she ignored every other part of its trunk and struck directly and precisely at the heart of its roots.

During the earlier battle, Saine had only been weakening the Weird Plant's strength and vitality. He had not intended to kill it.

This Weird Plant had genuinely piqued Saine's interest. Those special purple flame particles gave him the urge to get to the bottom of them.

But now, everything was over.
