Joining the Encirclement

Before long at the Western Temporary Fortress, a new advance mission arrived.

The Central Fortress's command center issued an order to encircle and kill Green Pine Earth Cypress, a demigod-level Plant Creature located west of the Main Continent of Green Leaf World.

Green Pine Earth Cypress was one of Green Leaf World's three demigod-level plants. Its age was not much less than that of Verdant Ancient Banyan, the guardian.

It stood a full three hundred meters tall, while the diameter of the verdant canopy spread by the ancient tree exceeded five hundred meters.

This fellow appeared somewhat shorter than Verdant Ancient Banyan, the guardian, but it was estimated that its root system was even more flourishing than Green Leaf World's guardian's.

Since invading Green Leaf World, Azure Source Holy Tower had dispatched dedicated Knights and Magicians to investigate the details of this world's high-level lifeforms.

According to reconnaissance, apart from the demigod-level Green Pine Earth Cypress that needed to be eradicated along Saine and the others' westward route, four Level-3 plant lifeforms posing enormous threats had also been discovered one after another.

Without exception, these Level-3 plants possessed tremendously massive bodies.

Not a single giant tree stood under a hundred meters tall, and their root systems were surely even more developed.

Their massive bodies, intricate root systems, and sluggish mobility made these giant plants blocking Azure Source Holy Tower's advance seem like fortress bunkers planted one after another, waiting to be uprooted.

In terms of reserves, these Level-3 plants, rooted deep underground and able to draw subterranean energy and nutrients through their countless roots, certainly possessed deeper reserves than ordinary Level-3 lifeforms.

Yet at the same time, their inability to gather and move also allowed the Azure Source Holy Tower Legion to encircle and annihilate them with relative ease.
