Ch. 2004Making Amends

Saine declined Gongsun Wudi’s offer to help him obtain Anli Gustavo’s Azure Blue Flame and led the Tianming Empire army toward its next targets. After learning that Saine was the Faceless Mask’s inheritor and a disciple of Joss, Anli sent him a flame seed to make amends for his earlier intentions.

  • Saine studied Anli Gustavo’s Azure Blue Flame, while Anli noticed the Faceless Mask and wondered where he had seen it before.
  • After Anli left, Saine refused Gongsun Wudi’s offer to help him get the flame and set out with her to attack regions of the West Continent.
  • Saine told Gongsun Wudi that the White Jade Dragon she wanted as a mount was becoming less resistant to taming.
  • Anli supported the Tianming Empire’s offensive, while his Flame Demon investigated Saine through the Kada Star Thief Group.
  • The Flame Demon reported that Saine inherited the Faceless Mask and Joss’s will, had infiltrated the Galente Federation, and had drawn the attention of powerful beings.
  • Anli gave the Flame Demon an Azure Blue Flame seed to send to Saine as a gesture of sincerity, relieved that he had avoided making an enemy of Joss’s disciple.

Ch. 2005Mistaken

Saine received the Azure Blue Flame from Setum as a gift from Anli Gustavo, and arranged to trade with the demons for top-grade Blood Crystals. Setum departed with Recovery Potions and Energy Amethysts for Anli, while Saine wondered why the flame had been sent to him.

  • Saine met with the still-injured Setum, who said Anli Gustavo had sent him to present a gift in thanks for Saine's help.
  • Setum gave Saine a deep blue Azure Blue Flame seed, which Saine believed could aid his understanding of the Ash Law and his path to Level-5 Peak.
  • Saine asked Setum to arrange an equivalent trade for top-grade Blood Crystals, and Setum agreed.
  • Saine gave Setum Recovery Potions and several dozen Energy Amethysts to deliver to Anli Gustavo.
  • Setum promised to deliver the gifts and left without knowing why Anli had sent the flame.

Ch. 2006Heart of the Swarm

While Saine devoted himself to experimenting with the Azure Blue Flame, Lieutenant James and his troops prepared for the approaching Zerg Swarm. The Zerg overran James’s base in just five Quantum Hours, and the swarm continued toward Tianxiao No. 2 Cluster Base.

  • Saine turned command of the war over to Beipeng and Mel so he could experiment, while Yuli assisted him and Fumila guarded the laboratory.
  • Gongsun Wudi heard that a Level-6 demon had visited Saine and acknowledged the report without comment.
  • Lieutenant James reassured his soldiers that reinforcements would arrive, despite knowing the Zerg were due far sooner than that.
  • The Zerg Swarm reached James’s base ahead of schedule, and James ordered his troops to prepare for battle.
  • A Thunder Beast burst up beneath the base as the Zerg attacked, and flying dragons bombarded the defenders from above.
  • The Zerg overwhelmed James’s base in five Quantum Hours and surged onward toward Tianxiao No. 2 Cluster Base.

Ch. 2007Magic Parcel

Saine discussed the Zerg’s rapid advance with Beipeng while continuing his research into the Azure Blue Flame. After receiving a parcel of letters, research, and materials from Luluenman, he sent gifts back to his mentor and sect and resolved to reach Level-5 Peak.

  • Beipeng visited Saine’s Planetary Fortress and warned that the Zerg were advancing across both continents with overwhelming force.
  • Saine reviewed battle intelligence showing the Zerg fielded six Dominator-class beings against three combined for the Tianming Empire and demons, and agreed the war might end sooner than expected.
  • Saine gave Beipeng potions and entrusted her with the front-line command while he continued researching the Azure Blue Flame.
  • Saine received a Magic Parcel from Luluenman containing letters, potions, magical materials, and Crystal Balls with her research and Grandmaster Cuilisi’s insights.
  • Saine learned that his mentor, family, and Ash Holy Tower were safe, then sent Luluenman and the sect elders specimens and Blood Crystal materials in return.
  • Saine resolved to reach Level-5 Peak as soon as possible and surprise Luluenman and the others.

Ch. 2008Didn't Pay

Saine received Blood Crystals and a refining method from the demon race, then continued experimenting until he merged Azure Blue Flame with the Flames of Ash. His new power reached Level-5 Peak, and he decided to leave his laboratory and take part in the Divine Descendant World War.

  • After hearing that the Divine Descendant World’s center had become a forbidden zone, Saine kept studying his Truth Arcana and completed the second stage of his Azure Blue Flame experiments.
  • Saine told Beipeng, Gongsun Wudi, and the others about his next experiment, and they supported him by guarding his Planetary Fortress.
  • The Kada Star Thief Group delivered top-grade Blood Crystals and a refining method from the demon race, which Saine stored away for later research.
  • Saine wondered whether Setum had avoided delivering the gifts himself because Saine had asked the demons for too many benefits, and realized he had not paid for the latest delivery.
  • Five years later, Saine merged Azure Blue Flame with the Flames of Ash, gaining enough power to threaten a Level-6 Creature without his artifacts.
  • Saine judged his power to have reached Level-5 Peak and decided to join the Divine Descendant World War instead of staying in his laboratory.

Ch. 2009Finished

Saine tested his new power on the Divine Descendant World battlefield as the Zerg Legion drove the world toward defeat. Marduk’s attempt to surrender failed, and as the Blade Empress continued her attack, Tianyang Venerable died beyond the plane.

  • Saine rampaged across multiple battlefields as the Deep Blue Demon, while Mel and Beipeng discussed his Blood Crystal Potion research.
  • Beipeng drank a Blood Crystal Potion, charged into battle, and helped the God of Black Mist defeat a Level-5 native god; Mel then joined the fighting in her giant dragon form.
  • The Blade Empress and Fermton overwhelmed Marduk, who offered to surrender and bring the Divine Descendant World into Wizard Civilization’s camp.
  • The Blade Empress rejected Marduk’s plea and struck his damaged Ark again, leaving him in despair as the Divine Descendant World neared destruction.
  • A dazzling light flashed beyond the plane, where Tianyang Venerable of the Myriad Transformations Celestial Venerable World met his end.

Ch. 2010What the Hell Is This?!

Tianyang Venerable was overwhelmed by five Dominators outside the Divine Descendant World and unleashed his final power in a desperate attack against Gongsun Wuji. As his blazing strike threatened to spread into the world, the other Dominators prepared to withstand it.

  • Gongsun Wuji abandoned the siege of Venerable Mu Ge and joined Blade Warrior, Thunder Beast King, Gustavo, and the Holy Dragon King in attacking Tianyang Venerable.
  • Saine watched Tianyang Venerable burn his Dominator Soul and illuminate the sky like a second sun.
  • Tianyang Venerable condemned Gongsun Wuji and launched a massive Fire Pattern Palm Print at him in a final act of revenge.
  • Gustavo retreated behind a Bone Shield while Thunder Beast King moved toward Gongsun Wuji to absorb the impact of Tianyang Venerable's desperate strike.

Ch. 2011Phantom

The Blade Warrior and Gongsun Wuji joined forces against Tianyang Venerable’s desperate assault, but a powerful phantom arrived and shielded the wounded Venerable. The Blade Queen identified the newcomer as Only-I Venerable, a top-tier rank-eight lifeform.

  • The Blade Warrior charged Tianyang Venerable with a spear formed from his own bones as Gongsun Wuji raised the Imperial Jade Seal and the Holy Dragon King protected him.
  • The clash unleashed shockwaves that shook the Divine Descendant World, and Saine sensed an unusual law fluctuation beyond the plane.
  • The Blade Queen ordered her allies to watch Fermton and left to investigate the disturbance.
  • The Blade Queen arrived to find Gongsun Wuji and the others facing a phantom that was sheltering the gravely wounded Tianyang Venerable.
  • The Blade Queen recognized the phantom as Only-I Venerable.

Ch. 2012Level-8 Peak

Only-I Venerable arrived on the battlefield outside the Divine Descendant World, and Blade Queen Lisa began evolving into her combat form to face him. The Wizard Civilization Dominators prepared to fight alongside her.

  • Only-I Venerable appeared as a Level-8 Peak Being, and his aura shook Marduk and Venerable Mu Ge.
  • Death Descendant Fempton remained unfazed and continued suppressing Marduk under Blade Empress's orders.
  • Blade Queen Lisa resisted Only-I Venerable's pressure and awakened her Zerg battle genes as he asked whether she wanted to fight him.
  • Blade Queen Lisa entered her combat state, growing bone blades and spikes across her body.
  • Gongsun Wuji, the Holy Dragon King, the Blade Warrior, the Thunder Beast King, and Demon Dominator Gustavo took combat stances alongside Blade Queen Lisa.

Ch. 2013And You Think You're Worthy?!

Blade Queen Lisa rejected Only-I Venerable’s offer and attacked him as the Dominator War continued beyond the plane. Years later, fragments of a Dominator’s body fell across the Divine Descendant World, sparking a desperate scramble and another wave of slaughter.

  • Only-I Venerable offered to release Tianyang Venerable and Venerable Mu Ge in exchange for peace and a favor, but Blade Queen Lisa refused and charged at him.
  • Saine reflected on the devastation the war had brought to the Divine Descendant World and resolved to become stronger.
  • In the eleventh year of the war, a brilliant star shattered against the Plane Barrier, scattering fragments of Dominator flesh and blood across the world.
  • Saine and other Wizard Civilization powerhouses rushed to claim the fragments, while the world’s remaining factions joined the scramble.
  • Golden light possessed and transformed some beings, making them targets for Wizard Civilization legions as a new wave of slaughter swept the plane.
  • A Level-6 Demon King, a Level-5 bat demon, and a wounded Level-4 Traveler disputed a clot of blood they identified as part of Tianyang Venerable’s body.

Ch. 2014Dominator's Blood

After claiming a fragment of Dominator's Blood, Saine returned to his Planetary Fortress to study how it empowered a native elk and theorized that the Divine Descendant World's Plane Will had helped creatures absorb it. His experiments were interrupted by a tremendous explosion and law fluctuations from the Dominator battlefield beyond the plane.

  • Saine seized a fist-sized fragment of Dominator's Blood while Beipeng, Ximen Feixiao, and others grabbed smaller pieces amid the fighting.
  • Fumila took the Magic Cube from Saine and led the Mechanical Angel Legion to continue fighting for Dominator's Blood while Saine returned to his Planetary Fortress with Yuli.
  • Saine examined an elk that had risen from Level-1 to Demigod after consuming a tiny fragment of Dominator's Blood and theorized that the Plane Will had enabled its transformation.
  • Saine considered using guardians or other lifeforms near the Plane Navel as intermediaries to extract Dominator's Blood, but had yet to complete his experiments.
  • A tremendous explosion and law fluctuations from beyond the plane interrupted Saine's research, signaling that something had happened at the central Dominator battlefield.

Ch. 2015Palm Imprint

The Blade Empress destroyed Only-I Venerable’s law projection after killing Tianyang Venerable, while Only-I Venerable’s true body faced the losses suffered by the Myriad Transformations Celestial Venerable World. He held back the planned second wave of forces and ordered Jin Yan Venerable to investigate Cloud Arising Venerable before deciding whether to continue the war.

  • The Blade Empress defeated Only-I Venerable’s projection and told him she would await his revenge.
  • Only-I Venerable’s projection exploded, and the exhausted Blade Empress turned her attention back to the Divine Descendant World battlefield.
  • Only-I Venerable learned that Tianyang Venerable and Venerable Mu Ge had been lost and erupted in anger, leaving a palm imprint over the Myriad Transformations Celestial Venerable World.
  • Jin Yan Venerable asked whether to send the second wave of forces, including Hai Yun Venerable and Venerable Shui Qiu, to the battlefield.
  • Only-I Venerable ordered Jin Yan Venerable to hold back the second wave and investigate Cloud Arising Venerable’s situation.

Ch. 2016Level-8 Melee

Only-I Venerable halted further troop deployments while investigating Cloud Arising Venerable’s disappearance. On the Tyrannical Planet battlefield, Cloud Arising Venerable watched a Level-8 melee and witnessed the grievously wounded Destruction Giant Ape Wukong repeatedly smash the Blood Mosquito Dominator.

  • Only-I Venerable learned that Jin Yan Venerable could not contact Cloud Arising Venerable and ordered Hai Yun Venerable and the others to pause their deployment.
  • Only-I Venerable said the Myriad Transformations Celestial Venerable World had fulfilled its contract by sending three Dominators and ordered Jin Yan Venerable to investigate Cloud Arising Venerable’s situation.
  • Cloud Arising Venerable remained at the edge of the Tyrannical Planet battlefield, where Wukong, Li Qingshan, the Galente Federation’s Level-8 War Fleet, and the Blood Mosquitoes fought.
  • Cloud Arising Venerable watched the wounded Wukong withstand attacks and repeatedly shatter the aggregated Blood Mosquito Dominator with his giant staff.

Ch. 2017Mosquito Daoist

Destruction Giant Ape Wukong battered Mosquito Daoist in a violent Dominator battle, while Cloud Arising Venerable watched from a distance. Mosquito Daoist re-formed his true body and faced Wukong’s renewed charge, still unable to understand the ape’s seemingly inexhaustible power.

  • Cloud Arising Venerable considered escaping the battlefield but stayed to watch the clash between the Rank Eight Dominators.
  • Wukong paused after a relentless assault, then saw the Blood Mosquito condensing its true body and charged again.
  • Mosquito Daoist re-formed as a white-robed Daoist within his Blood Mosquito Law True Body and braced himself for Wukong’s attack.
  • Mosquito Daoist’s history revealed that the Immortal Domain’s major forces rejected him, and that he had ambushed Buddhist disciples to strengthen his Merit Golden Lotus.
  • Mosquito Daoist had come seeking Wukong’s Eighth-Grade Black Lotus of Destruction and now wondered how Wukong could wield such power after his wounds.

Ch. 2018Both Severely Wounded

The Destruction Giant Ape Wukong repeatedly crushed the Mosquito Daoist, but both Dominators were left severely wounded and Wukong’s Sea-Stabilizing Divine Needle split in two. Unable to keep fighting Wukong, the Mosquito Daoist fled toward Cloud Arising Venerable, demanding an arm so he could feed and recover.

  • Wukong annihilated the Mosquito Daoist’s true body again, and the impact cracked the Galente Federation’s Energy Barrier and formed a Destruction Storm.
  • Wukong’s Sea-Stabilizing Divine Needle snapped in two after enduring the battle, while the Mosquito Daoist re-formed, pale and badly injured.
  • The Mosquito Daoist feared that continued direct combat with Wukong would get him killed, while Wukong charged at him again in fury.
  • The Mosquito Daoist transformed into hundreds of millions of Blood Mosquitoes and fled toward Cloud Arising Venerable, hoping to consume his blood and vitality.
  • The Mosquito Daoist demanded that Cloud Arising Venerable give him an arm.

Ch. 2019Reinforcements Arrive

Cloud Arising Venerable was threatened by Mosquito Daoist but was protected by the Destruction Giant Ape, then joined the fight against the Blood Mosquitoes. As reinforcements arrived at the battlefield, the Wizard Civilization’s forces engaged and overpowered the Galente Federation’s fleet.

  • Cloud Arising Venerable drew his White Jade Long Blade and attacked Mosquito Daoist’s Blood Mosquitoes as they swarmed him.
  • Wukong intervened to protect Cloud Arising Venerable, and Cloud Arising Venerable helped him strike down the Blood Mosquitoes.
  • The Destruction Giant Ape kicked Cloud Arising Venerable aside and charged Mosquito Daoist again.
  • The starry sky Energy Barrier shattered, and a Galente Federation fleet and its forces arrived as reinforcements.
  • Wizard Civilization reinforcements appeared behind the Federation fleet, having fought their way to the battlefield, and their Three-Headed Chimeras and Komodo War Behemoths attacked the Federation forces.

Ch. 2020A Tough Nut to Crack

Elune and Kampas arrived with Wizard Civilization reinforcements on the Tyron Star battlefield, where Elune helped Wukong recover his clarity. Cloud Arising Venerable and his forces joined Wukong against the Blood Mosquito Dominator, and Wukong unleashed an army of Monkey Descendants as the battle erupted again.

  • Befu sent Elune, the Elf God, and Kampas, the Orc God, to reinforce the battle on Tyron Star.
  • Elune used her Light of Clarity to calm Wukong, who then apologized to Cloud Arising Venerable and asked him to fight alongside him.
  • Myriad Transformations Celestial Venerable World legions began attacking the Blood Mosquito forces, and Cloud Arising Venerable chose to join Wukong against the Mosquito Daoist.
  • Wukong summoned countless Monkey Descendants infused with Destruction Power, and the forces clashed once more.

Ch. 2021Calling for Backup

Elf and orc reinforcements overwhelmed the battlefield, prompting Mosquito Daoist to flee while the wounded Destruction Giant Ape Wukong tried to stop him. Wukong summoned help by striking his Golden Hoop, sending a signal toward the Buddhist Realm of the Immortal Domain Civilization.

  • Elf God Elune and Orc God Kampas led elite legions into the battle, bolstering the Wizard Alliance against the Galente Federation Army.
  • Mosquito Daoist recognized that the enemy forces were too strong and fled as the Galente Federation Army held the line.
  • Destruction Giant Ape Wukong pursued Mosquito Daoist, but could not stop him from escaping.
  • Wukong struck the Golden Hoop on his forehead and sent a beam of Buddhist light toward the Immortal Domain Civilization's Buddhist Realm.

Ch. 2022Buddhism Sect Makes Its Move

After Wukong’s distress message reached the Buddhist Realm, Tathagata Buddha prepared to send Buddhism Sect forces to the Wizard Civilization Battlefield, giving the sect a reason to join the war. Guanyin Bodhisattva was poised to lead the expedition, but Dipamkara Buddha volunteered first.

  • Wukong’s message from the battlefield reached Tathagata Buddha as he preached at the Great Thunderclap Temple.
  • Buddhism Sect’s leaders saw Wukong’s request as a chance to enter the war despite Wizard Civilization’s reluctance to accept their aid.
  • Tathagata Buddha asked who would go to help the injured Victorious Fighting Buddha.
  • Guanyin Bodhisattva stepped forward to take charge of the expedition.
  • Dipamkara Buddha volunteered before Guanyin Bodhisattva could accept the task.

Ch. 2023Dipamkara Buddha

Dipamkara Buddha volunteered to lead the Buddhism Sect’s force to the Wizard Civilization Battlefield, and Tathagata Buddha approved the expedition’s roster. The chapter ended with Dipamkara Buddha adding Fa Hai and his Twenty-Four Wisdom Kings to the force.

  • Dipamkara Buddha volunteered to go to the Wizard Civilization Battlefield, and no one in the Great Thunderclap Temple objected.
  • Tathagata Buddha selected Dragon Subduing Arhat, Tiger Taming Arhat, and Haoyue Bodhisattva to accompany Dipamkara Buddha.
  • Tathagata Buddha ordered 106 Buddhas, 248 Bodhisattvas, 724 Arhats, 1,242 Dharma Protector Sangharamas, and hundreds of millions of Buddhist disciples to join the expedition.
  • Dipamkara Buddha recommended Fa Hai, whom Tathagata Buddha approved as an additional Level-7 Dominator.
  • Dipamkara Buddha asked to bring his Twenty-Four Wisdom Kings, and Tathagata Buddha approved their participation.
