Taking the Day Off Today

Partly because I'm stuck on the plot—the later parts are a bit fragmented, and I'm figuring out how to tie them together.

Partly because it's the holidays. With an excuse like that, the moment I ran into a little writer's block, I thought, Well, since the excuse has already been sent out, I might as well take Christmas off for a day...

All I can say is that I'm being wishfully optimistic and fooling myself.
