Like every other cult that preyed upon foolish believers to enrich itself, it had secured a place in the land-starved Upper District through vast offerings of money.

But strangely, not even their peers gave them any trouble. Instead, at all manner of gatherings, they lavishly praised the rarely seen Father Huai Shi, calling him a rare devout believer and a Pure One worthy of admiration.
