I got up early today and took Broken Dog for an examination. Then Broken Dog got all worked up and resisted the whole way, and after we arrived at the pet hospital, he went crazy picking fights and trading insults with other innocent doggies and cats... It took every ounce of strength I had to hold him down for shaving, examinations, and injections, then wait for the results.
By the time I came back to my senses, I had already been sitting beneath the air-conditioning vent, dragged around by the dog for several hours.
I felt like life was no longer worth living, shivering all over.
And the stones still hadn't improved...
The doctor said that if there was still no improvement after another month, we might have to prepare for surgery. Better a short pain than a long one.
But all I could feel was a headache.
Because of invoice issues, it dragged on until two o'clock. Cold and hungry, I ran a long way to find somewhere with lighter food, but the waiter still wouldn't let me bring the dog in. And I'd just seen some influencer-faced woman carrying a Chihuahua out of there...
By the time I got home, it was already four or five in the afternoon. I was exhausted, but after sitting down in front of the computer, I started getting stuck again to the point of agony.
I'm in terrible shape, so I can only put this on hold for a day.
My deepest apologies.
