Seeing the key tossed over, Huai Shi instinctively reached out to catch it. But when he heard Russell's words, his hand trembled, and he nearly dropped the key on the ground.
"What the hell?"
He suspected there was something wrong with his ears.
"It's just a yacht, nothing special. Didn't you buy your teacher a drink? Consider it your teacher's return gift to his student." Russell shrugged and said no more, turning to walk aboard.
Only Huai Shi remained standing on the shore, clutching the key in astonishment. He raised it and examined it closely.
Heaven knew, Huai Shi's first reaction was actually to hurry up and check the accounts, to see whether his own money had been used... Only after repeatedly confirming that it had been paid in full did he finally feel as though he were dreaming.
A yacht?
What did he even need this thing for?
If he resold it, could he make a fortune as a middleman?
His expression twitched. In the end, he sighed and put the key away.
This was all his hard-earned money.
"Fine. After being a tool for so long, getting a yacht out of it isn't bad."
The country bumpkin Huai Shi stuffed both hands into his pockets and swaggered aboard his very own vessel.
Then he remembered... he apparently didn't know how to drive a boat?
Ten minutes later, Huai Shi was racing a neighboring yacht out on the sea.
Though the Book of Destiny had given him several hours of simulated training, in reality, he was merely holding the yacht's wheel for appearances' sake.
