"Brother Lou, what do you think?"
Old Zhou nudged Bai Youlou with his elbow, a sly smile on his face.
Bai Youlou spread his hands and, looking at the pitiful Hu Manyin, "loudly conspired" with Old Zhou: "If we don't help her, we can just leave her here."
Old Zhou's expression was incredibly vivid: You're not even human!
Old Zhou didn't think he was joking at all. Instead, he felt that the current Bai Youlou really could do something like that.
Hu Manyin's face went pale when she heard this.
The hand gripping the room card tightened until even her knuckles turned white.
Her dignity was shattered all over the floor.
But before she could mock herself, Bai Youlou waved his hand. "Let's help her carry her luggage upstairs first and take a look at the room."
That sounded a little strange, but what Old Zhou found even stranger was why he was the one helping her carry her luggage.
"Seriously? A suite! Your company's pretty loaded."
After arriving at Hu Manyin's hotel room, Bai Youlou looked around and sighed.
The hotel where he and Old Zhou were staying only had ordinary twin rooms.
Yet someone who had come to freeload off the red carpet was staying in a suite with two bedrooms.
Hu Manyin explained softly, "I wasn't staying here alone before. My agent and stylist shared one room. I needed to get my makeup done and change into my gown in the morning, and the photographer was a man, so we booked another room. We've already checked out of it now."
Bai Youlou nodded. "So now you're staying here alone. Are you afraid at night?"
Hu Manyin instinctively replied, "I'm not really afraid. Huh? Am I supposed to be afraid?"
