The standoff lasted for a moment.

Song Ren held the Claw Knife in reverse with his left hand, pressing it against the vicious canine tooth of the pit bull. The blade had already torn open a small section of its masseter muscle.

But then the corner of his eye caught sight of another snarling pit bull.

He immediately pulled away. As his wrist twisted, he used the lowered blade tip to slip past the sharp canine teeth and swiftly slice open another small section of crimson flesh in the masseter muscle.

At the same time, he yanked the knife free, drew back his arm, and rapidly retreated, leaping backward several times.

The instant he had created even the slightest distance, he twisted around and followed with a kick, successfully kicking back the other pit bull as it lunged at him.

The entire series of movements flowed seamlessly, completed in a single breath!

But it had to be said: the surrounding attack by these pit bulls was indeed rather troublesome.

They had great stamina and tremendous strength.

Once they went mad, they could barely feel pain, recklessly lunging forward and biting without pause.

Throughout this process, Song Ren had to ensure that they did not bite him.

Otherwise, one small mistake would affect everything, and when facing the other two pit bulls, he would be plunged into an absolute crisis.

Song Ren's dark pupils shifted back and forth. He retreated while adjusting his stance.

The pit bull whose masseter muscle had just been sliced open showed no signs of backing down. Instead, its ferocity had grown even greater.

It lunged straight for Song Ren's ankle!

Coldness filled Song Ren's eyes. He raised his heel, quickly hooked it backward, then suddenly stomped down through the air!

He kicked diagonally into the pit bull's head, flipping it over and sending it crashing heavily to the ground.

Only after these several exchanges did the pit bull that Song Ren had kicked down with all his strength finally climb back to its feet.

Its mouth was streaked with blood and scraps of flesh mixed with fragments of internal organs, yet its small eyes still glinted with viciousness.

It had only charged two meters when its body began to sway. Finally, with a thud, it collapsed onto the ground again and stopped moving completely.

Earlier, Song Ren's full-power kick had infused too much inherited power from the Hoof Seal.

Even through the thick layer of fat, it had not only shattered the pit bull's ribs beneath its abdomen.

It had even crushed its internal organs!

However, killing one only slightly eased the pressure Song Ren was facing.

The other two still acted as though they had gone mad.

The black, short-haired pit bulls charged at him simultaneously from two directions.

Song Ren quickly swept his gaze left and right.

His feet continued retreating as he calmed his mind and breath, searching inwardly for the perfect opening to strike.

Only when the two pit bulls accelerated and once again charged snarling into view did they reach him.

One of them seemed unwilling to accept defeat. It leaped up again and pounced straight at Song Ren's side.

The other abandoned its leap and instead tore toward Song Ren's lower leg.

One above and one below, they opened their bloody maws at the same time, their bared canine teeth flashing with cold light!

Song Ren held his breath and focused to the utmost.

At a certain instant, he suddenly shifted sideways to give himself a slight angle, pressing his bent knee onto the neck of the pit bull on the ground.

At that moment, his body sank rapidly. Using his full weight, he pressed the pit bull on the ground onto its side and pinned it there.

Song Ren's knee bore down heavily on its short, thick, muscular neck. Its gaping bloody maw could only snarl and bare its teeth furiously, unable to touch Song Ren at all.

Meanwhile, the pit bull that had lunged at him was caught by one hand around the muscle layer of its neck. Riding the momentum of his body sinking onto one knee, he followed through with a low, sideways throw.

Of the two pit bulls, one had its neck pinned beneath his knee and the weight of his entire body, leaving its body to thrash uselessly in a frenzy.

The other was locked firmly in Song Ren's right hand. The inertia of the midair sideways throw briefly numbed the pit bull's movements and blunted its resistance.

Song Ren seized the opportunity, and the icy glint in his eyes erupted in full force.

He gripped the Claw Knife in reverse with his left hand and swung the blade in a horizontal half-circle.

The curved tip swept around to the rear side of the pit bull's neck, then suddenly hooked and gouged with its sharp point.

The tip pierced in slightly, and the muscle layer beneath the pit bull's neck was torn open.

The pit bull began to struggle violently!

With only his right hand, Song Ren was already close to losing control.

Looking at the other pit bull struggling just as fiercely beneath his knee, Song Ren's lowered eyelids instantly filled with murderous ferocity.

The Claw Knife plunged down along the layer of muscle it had hooked into. Then his arm exerted force and yanked back, the blade following the torn opening in the muscle and slicing around it, spraying a ring of bright-red droplets!

At the same time, the pressure from his right arm was already weakening.

As Song Ren pulled back the Claw Knife, he used the momentum to spring violently backward.

When he landed steadily, the pit bull that had broken free from beneath his knee was already charging at him in a frenzy.

Once this kind of fierce bull terrier entered a fighting stance, its sense of pain was nearly nonexistent. Its heart and mind held nothing but the desire to bite the prey before it to death.

Song Ren nimbly sidestepped the pit bull.

The other pit bull followed close behind. Its neck was already stained red with bloody fluid, and its charging speed had clearly slowed by a beat.

Its madness, however, had not diminished in the slightest.

That was where Song Ren's attention lay.

He seized this brief opening, sprang up, twisted his waist, and brought a Single Whip Kick down from above, viciously striking the torn-open wound.

Pfft!

The wound was compressed by the kick before suddenly bursting open, spraying a large sheet of bright-red fluid!

The pit bull whimpered and crashed to the ground.

After whimpering several times in succession, it still could not climb back up. The pupils in its small eyes grew increasingly unfocused.

Only before death did it finally feel the tearing pain in its body. It let out a shrill howl of agony before ultimately falling silent once more.

At this point, only the last of the three pit bulls remained.

It weighed approximately fifty kilograms. Among adult pit bulls, it could be considered one of the larger specimens.

However, with the threat posed by the other two gone, there was now only this single pit bull left.

Its threat was even less intimidating than that of a Doberman.

Although pit bulls belonged to the bull terrier family and could barely be considered the most handsome fighters among fighting dogs, whether in the sharpness of their canine teeth or in their physique,

pit bulls lacked dominance. Their most terrifying traits were their refusal to feel pain, their lack of fear, and their relentless fighting style of never stopping until death.

And when multiple pit bulls that understood coordination attacked a person together, they were truly terrifying.

But now, only this one pit bull remained.

The gloom weighing on Song Ren's heart finally dispersed somewhat.

The pit bull still showed no fear and charged at Song Ren again.

Song Ren rolled his wrists and stopped retreating. For the first time, he took the initiative to walk toward the pit bull.

The pit bull accelerated as it charged. Its powerful, broad forelegs and hind legs granted it tremendous explosive strength.

Song Ren's reaction speed, however, was even faster.

When he nimbly sidestepped it, he did not forget to reach back and grab the tail of the pit bull that had lunged past him.

In midair, the tail was already firmly crossed behind the pit bull by both of Song Ren's hands.

He planted his feet in an exceptionally stable horse stance, swung both arms, and immediately performed a midair shoulder throw.
