Naturally, he had to seize the time to pacify the north first.

That way, he could focus on dealing with Green Swamp afterward.

Along the way, Linsey also took time each day to check the Task Bar.

Given the Task System's capabilities, if Hilude, who had remained behind at the base, wanted to do anything underhanded, there would most likely be a corresponding task on the Task Bar.

The good news was that the Task System showed no reaction.

Then came the allocation of hero slots.

At the Insect Nest, Lamenter had already completed his transformation. As for the remaining two slots...

That left Forest City with one remaining slot.

Last time, Linsey had not acted due to the time constraints. But once the Underground Fortress leveled up again, it would gain three more slots.

That made four heroes in total.
