Ch. 681Enlightenment

Abel fought through the Sea of Bones and entered a state of enlightenment that transformed his knight swordsmanship. He continued refining a force-circulating technique against thirty armed skeletons, leaving his new group-fighting ability still developing.

  • Abel used the skeletons, whose strength matched his own, to practice Knight Skill while his mana and combat qi were suppressed.
  • He stopped relying on Dynamic Vision and Dataized Perspective Ability and entered a state of enlightenment, using counterforce and his body’s momentum to kill four skeletons in succession.
  • Abel realized his improved sword-and-shield techniques could recycle force, strengthening his attacks while reducing how much strength he expended.
  • He advanced another ten meters, where thirty Grand Knight Commander-level skeletons armed with bone weapons rose from the Sea of Bones.
  • Abel rode his direwolf into the group and refined a spinning assault that borrowed counterforce to deliver powerful, continuous attacks.

Ch. 682Whirlwind

Abel gained the incomplete Whirlwind technique after an enlightenment-driven spinning attack wiped out waves of skeletons, though the dire wolf’s dizziness interrupted his assault. He found a naturally formed Perfect Skeleton Gem and continued deeper into the Beast God Festival space, consciously using Whirlwind against another group of mounted skeletons.

  • Abel’s spinning attack tore through thirty armored skeletons and then thirty more riding bone horses, while the dire wolf struggled to keep up.
  • The dire wolf lost control, breaking Abel’s whirlwind and leaving him to block the skeletons’ attacks on foot before he killed the remaining enemies.
  • Abel discovered that the Horadric Cube’s skill tree had gained Whirlwind [Incomplete], a mana-free technique powered by physical strength and opponents’ force.
  • Abel found a naturally formed Perfect Skeleton Gem among the shattered bones and searched the area for more without success.
  • Bai Xue returned to Abel’s shoulder, then flew away again as he advanced and consciously used Whirlwind [Incomplete] against another group of mounted skeletons.

Ch. 683Blood Red Skeleton

Abel encountered a Blood Red Skeleton whose speed and strength trapped him in the sea of bones, forcing Bai Xue to fight the skeletons and rescue him. The chapter left Abel free but still facing the Blood Red Skeleton, which continued clashing with Bai Xue.

  • Abel discovered that one Perfect Skeleton Gem appeared after every thirty Grand Knight Commander-strength skeletons were killed, then continued deeper into the sea of bones searching for Beast God's Blood.
  • A Blood Red Skeleton charged Abel with a powerful strike, shattered its spear against his shield, and trapped his legs in the bones while attacking with a blade.
  • Abel used Dynamic Vision and Dataized Perspective Ability to defend himself as the Blood Red Skeleton drove him deeper into the bones, then ordered Bai Xue to attack the arriving skeletons.
  • Bai Xue destroyed the other twenty-nine skeletons and confronted the Blood Red Skeleton, forcing it to retreat after their weapons first collided.
  • Abel escaped the sea of bones and watched Bai Xue exchange repeated clashes with the Blood Red Skeleton.

Ch. 684Blood of the Beast God

Abel and Bai Xue defeated a Blood Red Skeleton, and Abel collected its Beast God's Blood before pushing deeper into the Beast God Festival space. After striking an invisible barrier, he was expelled into a dark dump filled with the bodies of the humans and orcs who had died inside.

  • Abel and Bai Xue fought the Blood Red Skeleton until Abel pierced its spine and Bai Xue shattered its skull.
  • Abel collected the Beast God's Blood that emerged from the Blood Red Skeleton's remains and continued onward with Bai Xue.
  • Abel fought through more skeletal horsemen, reached a bone platform, and collected another drop of the Beast God's Blood.
  • Abel rode Bai Xue through the air until an invisible wall blocked them, then ordered Bai Xue to fight the skeletal horses while he tested the barrier.
  • After Abel struck the barrier, the Beast God Festival space turned red and a tremendous force expelled him from it.
  • Abel awoke in a dark dump surrounded by discarded weapons, armor, and the bodies of the dead wizards, Donald, orcs, and mounts.

Ch. 685War Command Spirit

Abel escaped the garbage dump by revealing his Ancient Elder Identification Token and met War Command Spirit, the commander of the Seventh Reserve Base. He learned how the Beast God had been imprisoned to power the base and discovered that the still-intact base could be reached through a Teleportation Gate.

  • Abel used a Fire Bolt to inspect the garbage dump, contacted Bai Xue, and realized his Ancient Elder Identification Token might get him out.
  • Abel removed the token, and its power teleported him to the Seventh Reserve Base, where War Command Spirit apologized for nearly killing him.
  • War Command Spirit told Abel that the Beast God had been captured for energy, died after twelve hundred years, and left blood that the spirit used to sustain the base through the Beast God Festival.
  • Abel asked War Command Spirit to bring Bai Xue out of the trial space, and she reappeared beside him.
  • War Command Spirit reported that the base had twenty-one drops of Beast God's Blood and could still produce fifty top-grade deathly-energy crystals every ten years.
  • War Command Spirit explained that the base was built from a Space Fragment and could be entered from anywhere through a Teleportation Gate.

Ch. 686Visit

Abel toured the Seventh Reserve Base and learned about its ruined food stores, damaged puppets, and preserved seeds. The War Command Spirit gained a mobile body, and Abel discovered that the corpse in the base’s energy room was the Beast God.

  • Abel learned that the base’s Teleportation Gate was hidden beneath the stone platform at Mount Nam and planned to wait until the Beast God Festival ended before acting.
  • Abel inspected the food warehouse and learned that its Vitality Recovery Standard Food came from Cloud Fruits, while the Cloud Trees had died but their seeds remained preserved.
  • Abel found the damaged puppets and let the War Command Spirit control his Engineering Puppet, which then guided him through the base.
  • The War Command Spirit showed Abel the abandoned botanical garden, its preserved vegetable and Cloud Fruit seeds, and explained that the base lacked energy and repair materials.
  • Abel found a Minotaur’s corpse in the energy storage room and learned from the War Command Spirit that it was the Beast God, whose energy depletion had left the base’s puppets unable to move.

Ch. 687In the Base

Abel restored the Seventh Reserve Base's energy with perfect gemstones and explored its training ground and trial area. He returned to the first level to wait three days before going back to Mount Nam to seize the Teleportation Gate activation device.

  • Abel fed five thousand perfect gemstones into the central energy magic circle, restoring the base's energy and its functions.
  • Abel visited the second level and watched War Command Spirit simulate a forest with Energy Creation.
  • War Command Spirit explained that the third level's sea of bones served as a trial ground and resource exchange area, and clarified why the base had captured Abel when he attacked its wall of qi.
  • Abel returned to the first level and planned to wait three days before going back to Mount Nam, while the base still required extensive repairs.

Ch. 688Succeeding

Abel transferred the War Command Spirit into his Elder Identification Token, then returned to Mount Nam and destroyed the Beast God Festival platform. High Priest Dono appeared and pursued him, unaware that Abel was human.

  • Abel agreed to awaken the Seventh Reserve Base’s Base Spirit and let the War Command Spirit transfer into his Elder Identification Token, supplying it with perfect gems for energy.
  • After waiting another day, Abel took Black Wind and Bai Xue and teleported from the base to the stone platform on Mount Nam.
  • Abel smashed the concave platform with an iron hammer, found and stored its green teleportation trigger, then heard someone approaching.
  • High Priest Dono appeared with eight skeletons and saw Abel beside the destroyed platform, vowing to pursue him and turn him into a skeleton.
  • Abel ordered Black Wind to run while remaining in werewolf form, and Dono’s scan did not reveal his human identity.

Ch. 689Aging Curse

Abel escaped High Priest Dono’s Aging Curse by transferring control to his Druidic sub-soul and continued fleeing Mount Nam with Black Wind and Bai Xue. After breaking through several defenses, he learned that three checkpoints remained before he could escape the mountain.

  • The Aging Curse drained Abel and slowed Black Wind, but Abel handed control of his body to the Druidic sub-soul, making the curse disappear.
  • Abel struck a pursuing skeleton, absorbed its death energy, and dodged a Bone Spear from High Priest Dono, who pursued him aboard a Steel Golem.
  • Abel ordered Bai Xue to shatter a Defense Array, and Bai Xue froze and destroyed the Pike Knights guarding it.
  • Bai Xue broke through the route’s Defense Arrays while Black Wind carried Abel onward along the ground to avoid siege crossbows.
  • Abel used the Elder Identification Token to have the War Command Spirit scan Mount Nam and learned that only three checkpoints remained.

Ch. 690Poison

Abel escaped Mount Nam with Bai Xue while High Priest Dono and other pursuers closed in. Abel used a Horadric Cube poison potion to block the route, poisoning a High Priest and delaying Dono as Abel fled to find a safe place to treat Bai Xue.

  • Abel and Black Wind broke through Mount Nam's three checkpoints while High Priest Dono and two other High Priests pursued them.
  • A High Priest riding a Duer Eagle wounded Bai Xue with a Bone Spear as it flew out of Mount Nam.
  • Abel called Bai Xue to his side, then exploded a poison potion in the sky with an arrow to block the Duer Eagle's pursuit.
  • The Duer Eagle and its rider flew through the Poison Mist, became poisoned, and crashed to the ground.
  • High Priest Dono stopped before the Poison Mist and sent skeletons to rescue the poisoned High Priest, losing one skeleton to the poison.
  • Abel fled with Bai Xue as orcs entered the area, while Dono handed the poisoned High Priest to arriving orcs for treatment.

Ch. 691Escape

Abel escaped the Beast God Holy Land on Bai Xue while the Orc Empire mobilized to stop him. He headed for the Orc Battlefield, unaware that High Priest Dono was racing ahead to intercept him.

  • Abel gave Bai Xue a Gold Quality "Healing Potion" while Green Falcon watched and reported the potion to High Priest Dono.
  • Abel ordered Bai Xue to kill Green Falcon, and she killed it and its linked blindfolded orc Sky Eye.
  • High Priest Dono ordered the Sky Eyes to maintain surveillance and mobilized flying mounts to slow Abel down.
  • Abel rode Bai Xue toward the Orc Battlefield and instructed White Cloud to bring War Fortress No. 03 to its outskirts.
  • High Priest Dono flew ahead on a Swift Eagle to wait for Abel near the Orc Battlefield, while Abel remained unaware of the ambush.

Ch. 692The Battle of Miracle Wall

Miracle City prepared for the Orc Empire’s assault, and the battle for Miracle Wall began with a charge by the Pike Tribe Orcs. The Pike Tribe Orcs overwhelmed the first defensive line of Heavy Fire Oil, leaving the defenders to face their advance.

  • Miracle City mobilized knights and Wizards as the Orc army gathered outside the Orc Battlefield.
  • Intermediate Wizard Caulder rallied the knights, and the first formation took up defensive positions on Miracle Wall.
  • The Orc War Drums cursed the knights until a barrier blocked most of their power.
  • Pike Knights threw red powder into the air, causing the Pike Tribe Orcs and their Symbiotic Pigs to charge at Miracle Wall.
  • Intermediate Wizard Caulder ordered the Heavy Fire Oil defensive line set alight, but successive waves of Pike Tribe Orcs threw themselves into the flames and overcame it.

Ch. 693The Terrifying Pike Tribe

The Orc Empire sent waves of Pike Tribe orcs to exhaust Miracle Wall’s defenses, while Caulder used the dragon horn to restore the knights and summoned Miracle City’s two Divine Archers. The killing field rose dangerously close to the wall, and the Divine Archers prepared to fight under the protection of four Ice Element Grand Knight Commanders.

  • The Pike Tribe orcs charged Miracle Wall as the knights fired arrows, and their bodies, mounts, and stones accumulated beneath the wall while draining the Defense Array’s energy.
  • Caulder ordered the Defense Array shut down, but the Pike Tribe orcs continued attacking the wall and raising the ground with their corpses.
  • After the knights endured ten shifts and the Orc War Drum weakened them, Caulder sounded Miracle City’s dragon horn, restoring their vitality.
  • The narration revealed that the Orc Empire had planned the assault after learning that a severe climate-cooling cycle had begun, feeding the Pike Tribe to increase its population and sustain the killing field.
  • Caulder summoned the last two Divine Archers in Miracle City, and the knight commander assigned four Ice Element Grand Knight Commanders to protect them.

Ch. 694Divine Archer

At Miracle Wall, Divine Archers Hector and Manuel used War City Ballistae to kill the Orc Priests threatening the barrier. The orcs then began building a War High Platform within range of the wall, and Intermediate Wizard Caulder ordered the catapults to attack.

  • Intermediate Wizard Caulder ordered the barrier raised as the Orc Priests advanced toward Miracle Wall.
  • Divine Archers Hector and Manuel fired their War City Ballistae, killing four Orc Priests before the others reached spellcasting range.
  • The Orc Priests cast Corpse Explosion, damaging the barrier, but Hector, Manuel, and the city ballistae killed them all.
  • The orcs sent ox carts to carry stones to a site 250 meters from Miracle Wall and began constructing a War High Platform.
  • Intermediate Wizard Caulder ordered the catapults to fire five rounds to disrupt the construction and protect human morale.

Ch. 695Building the High Platform

Human catapults battered the orc supply formations, but the Orc Empire raised a platform level with Miracle Wall and prepared to deploy its own war machines. As the Minotaur were assigned the dangerous work, human wizards vowed to investigate who had betrayed the catapult technology.

  • The knight commander ordered five catapult volleys, which tore bloody paths through the orc ox-cart formations and lifted human morale.
  • Gerald assigned Carol and the Minotaur to operate the orc war machines once the platform was complete, while Carol privately resented the danger and oppression his clan faced.
  • Clarence reflected on the Minotaur records claiming the Beast God had been a Minotaur, while Grote and Emery welcomed Gerald's order.
  • By dawn, the platform had risen to Miracle Wall's height, and thousands of Minotaur pushed twenty enormous catapults toward it under shield protection.
  • Caulder, Dunn, and Lorenzo recognized the catapults as human technology and called for an investigation into the betrayal.

Ch. 696Minotaur

The Orcs and humans exchanged catapult fire and ballista volleys as the Orcs launched a second assault on the Miracle Wall with Pike Knights. The Pike Knights kept climbing under heavy fire while Hector and Manuel grew exhausted suppressing the Orc ballistae.

  • The human catapults damaged several Orc catapults, and the Orcs raised smoke to hinder the Miracle Wall’s aim.
  • Minotaur Karol led the deployment of forty War City Ballistae, whose volley struck the Miracle Wall before the humans counterattacked and destroyed many Orc ballistae.
  • A red fireball signaled tens of thousands of Pike Knights to charge the Miracle Wall with bamboo scaling ladders.
  • The knights fired arrows and battle aura at the climbers, killing Pike Knights before they could climb far, while casualties on both sides mounted.
  • Hector and Manuel continued destroying Orc ballistae despite growing fatigue, and the knight commander could not spare them.

Ch. 697Gray Robe

A gray-robed Intermediate Priest destroyed the Miracle Wall's defensive barrier with repeated Corpse Explosion spells before dying in the flames on the high platform. With the wall exposed and its defenses being replenished, General Gerald ordered Grote the Wolfman to lead the Wolf Tribe's assault.

  • The gray-robed Intermediate Priest used Corpse Explosion on the corpses atop the Miracle Wall, killing many knights and three Grand Knight Commanders before Caulder ordered the catapults to fire Heavy Fire Oil fireballs.
  • The fireballs engulfed the high platform, but the gray-robed Intermediate Priest continued casting behind skeletons and Bearmen until Corpse Explosion shattered the Miracle Wall's barrier.
  • The gray-robed Intermediate Priest died in the flames, while Caulder learned the Defense Array needed nine minutes to replenish and ordered a second group of one thousand knights and reserve equipment to the wall.
  • General Gerald ordered Grote the Wolfman to lead the Wolf Tribe against the Miracle Wall, and Grote planned to send recruits rather than his elite Wolf Riders.
  • Carol the Minotaur welcomed the Wolf Tribe's turn to fight, Emery the Tigerman doubted Grote's sincerity, and Clarence the Foxman lamented the tribes' continuing conflicts.

Ch. 698Wolf Riders

The Orc Empire launched successive Wolf Rider assaults on Miracle Wall, but human defenses devastated the recruits and then burned down nearly a hundred Great Wolf Rider Commanders. The second attack reached the wall, where the commanders were killed, while Miracle Wall’s defensive barrier was close to recovering.

  • Minotaurs restored five catapults to the high platform, and Black Robe Intermediate Priests used Corpse Explosion on corpses launched toward Miracle Wall.
  • Divine Archers Hector and Manuel competed to shoot the Orc Priests while Wolf Riders climbed ladders under arrow fire and Golden Juice.
  • After more than a dozen waves failed, the recruits broke and fled; Orc Priests killed the retreating Wolf Riders with Corpse Explosions.
  • General Gerald berated Grote, who requested another attack, and Gerald warned that Miracle Wall’s barrier would recover in two minutes.
  • Nearly a hundred Great Wolf Rider Commanders led a stronger second wave and climbed the ladders in Battle Qi armor.
  • On Caulder’s order, defenders doused the attackers with Heavy Fire Oil and ignited it; the burning commanders reached Miracle Wall but were killed by defending knights.

Ch. 699Airborne Pursuit

The Orc Empire prepared a general assault on the Miracle Wall after its forces suffered heavy losses, while Abel continued flying away from the empire under relentless pursuit. Abel evaded two High Priests and slowed their Swift Eagles, leaving them falling through the air.

  • General Gerald ordered hundreds of thousands of elite orc troops to prepare for a general assault on the Miracle Wall.
  • Abel rode Bai Xue away from the Orc Empire while orc scouts and flying mounts repeatedly harassed him.
  • Two High Priests on Swift Eagles caught up with Abel and attacked him with a Bone Spear.
  • Abel dodged the Bone Spear and struck one High Priest with an arrow, whose lightning paralyzed the Swift Eagle.
  • Bai Xue's Ice Ball burst near the High Priest, frosting both pursuers and causing the Swift Eagle to begin falling.

Ch. 700Blocked

Abel tried to reach the Orc Battlefield to escape the pursuing High Priests, but High Priest Dono trapped him with an Isolation Array and surrounded him with skeletons. After feigning capture, Abel cast Shadow Cloak to blind Dono and the skeletons, leaving his next move unresolved.

  • Abel sent Bai Xue to rest near War Fortress No. 03 and continued toward the Orc Battlefield on Black Wind.
  • High Priest Dono ambushed Abel with eight skeletons and an Isolation Array, intending to hold him until two more High Priests arrived.
  • Abel charged through the skeletons and dodged their attacks using Dynamic Vision and Dataized Perspective Ability.
  • High Priest Dono hit Abel with Curse Rain and trapped him inside Bone Prison, but the curse struck Abel's Druidic sub-soul instead of his main soul.
  • Abel cast Shadow Cloak, shrouding High Priest Dono and the eight skeletons in darkness.
