As my keyboard struck the final letter, no matter how reluctant I felt to let go, the time had come to draw the curtain to a close.
From the launch of the book last year to its completion, it had passed three million words. By the end, its average subscriptions stood at 8,800, while only around 500 readers remained subscribed to each update. It was a pity that it never broke ten thousand subscriptions while serialized.
The book's best performance came midway through, when I was writing about the struggle for supremacy over Blue Star. However, with the River Crab Divine Beast looming over us, I didn't dare delve too deeply into those plotlines. Later, when I wrote the cultivation arc, I truly wasn't skilled enough in that area; writing it was nowhere near as smooth as writing the Blue Star arc.
So I believe ending it here was fitting. I won't keep piling on one nested arc after another. My writing simply couldn't support opening up new storylines, and continuing like that would have been irresponsible toward my readers. So this book bids everyone farewell here.
I may add a few extra chapters in the future, writing until the end of this month.
Finally, my deepest thanks and respect to all the lovely readers who supported this book. My heartfelt gratitude! Perhaps fate will bring us together again!
