Silithus, Cthulhu's Gloommist Forest.
The dark, dense fog blanketing the entire forest seemed as though it would never disperse. Any unauthorized intruder would either lose themselves forever in the thick mist, where visibility was less than five meters, or be directly thrown out of the forest by Cthulhu.
Well... that depended on who you were and what status you held.
If a World Shaman like Thrall came in, nothing would happen to him. He could enter and leave whenever he pleased. Other than brother Blackmore back then, who would dare imprison him?
The ruins of the Temple of An'qiraj and the deep pit left behind when C'Thun fell had long since been filled by an enormous temple. A round, bulging eyeball was carved atop it, constantly watching over the entire Gloommist Forest.
At this moment, two beings who should have long been dead were struggling desperately within Cthulhu's temple. They were the Twin Emperors.
In the predetermined timeline, C'Thun had used the bodies of these two Aqir insectoid emperors under his command to desperately escape the timeline's fusion and devouring, smuggling himself into this unfamiliar timeline.
And then... he stepped straight into this utterly unfamiliar Silithus.
But there was no time to explain, get on... cough... In any case, he had no time to consider these strange matters. The moment C'Thun arrived, he began rooting his severely shrunken body back into the planet's interior.
Given some time, C'Thun could regrow into the colossal being he once was.
But unfortunately, he did not have that chance.
Deep beneath the Temple of An'qiraj, C'Thun, who had been digging downward, stopped. He was rather dumbfounded, because he saw another unfamiliar and unknown Old God occupying his place.
Dark golden, strange energy surged across that boundless mass of writhing flesh. Countless round eyeballs blinked
