"Thirteenth Style: Roaring Cannon!"
In the ruins of the wilderness, a sweet shout rang out. A cannonball formed from electricity tore through the air with a howl and blasted toward a giant troll ahead.
"Boom!"
An explosion rang out, followed by the troll's anguished roar, which echoed through the ruins.
The Spiritual Power that countered demonic nature sent the troll's rocky body flying. Stone chips scattered from it, along with splashes of blood.
That single strike would have been enough to kill an ordinary Phantom Demon.
However, the troll was among the strongest Lesser Phantasmal Demons, renowned for its combat prowess. It was also known for its powerful defenses. Even after suffering such a heavy blow, its savage nature was aroused once its howl of pain subsided.
"Roar!"
The rocky giant charged toward the direction of the attack, roaring furiously as its heavy footsteps thundered against the ground.
A jeep was parked there, carrying several students dressed in Demon Hunter Academy uniforms.
"It's coming!"
The burly man in the driver's seat shouted, then became the first to leap from the jeep. He hoisted a greatsword onto his shoulder and charged at the troll.
"Eek!"
A girl carrying two hammers gave a timid cry and charged out after him.
Only two people remained in the vehicle.
One was an exceptionally adorable girl with features as delicate as a porcelain doll. She raised her hand, and two circular arrays rippled around her wrist.
The Roaring Cannon from earlier had clearly been released by this girl. Unfortunately, it had failed to kill the incredibly well-defended troll in one strike.
The other person raised her hand immediately after her companions jumped from the vehicle and charged at the troll.
