Gradually, the tremors began to subside.
The ground stopped shaking, and the terrain stopped collapsing as well. Many Professionals who had been scrambling to cope finally breathed sighs of relief, still shaken as they looked around.
Most of what they could see had been damaged, with some areas even reduced to ruins.
The Phantom Demons inhabiting the maze seemed to have hidden themselves in fear. For the moment, not a single Phantom Demon could be seen.
"What exactly happened just now?"
"Why was there suddenly an earthquake?"
"Did some treasure just emerge?"

Countless Professionals began discussing the matter. As they exchanged information and made all kinds of guesses, the atmosphere in the Extreme Night Maze grew tense.
Some Professionals who had been dazzled by the natural treasures also began to feel afraid, unsure whether they should continue staying there.
If they remained, they might very well encounter the terrifying Phantom Demon capable of causing such a disturbance.
By then, no matter how many good things they found, they would have no life left to enjoy them.
If the Professionals thinking this way had been on the sixth floor and seen the scene at the center of the shocking disturbance, they would certainly have found it unbelievable.
