Ch. 222A Pressure Comparable to Mathematics, a Simple-Difficulty Seal (10k)
Yu Ziqing examines the sixty-four-faced sapphire, trying to understand its secrets. He contacts Old Yang, who reveals that the rune inside the gem is a masterpiece of a Rune Grandmaster, likely the Dao Creator of cultivators. However, Old Yang doesn't recognize the gem's origin or power.
Yu Ziqing decides to hide the gem and see how things develop. He then focuses on distributing the Great Shark Demon's meat among the villagers and hungry ghosts, testing their physical limits. He also feeds some to the demonic plants, including the Snake Willow and the Venus flytrap.
After the feast, Yu Ziqing goes to the back mountain and interacts with the Book of Anshi. The Book of Anshi reveals that it is the avatar of Da Dui's national destiny and that resolving the calamities will fill in the missing parts of history. Yu Ziqing decides to select suitable disasters to resolve and leaves some for later.
He enters the seven-colored gem and resolves a disaster in Jia Shen City. The Great Demon is easily defeated, and Yu Ziqing absorbs its power. He then encounters a familiar presence and uses guilt by association to attack it. After resolving the disaster, he returns and decides to send some villagers into the seals for training to gain combat experience. He also gives the Village Chief the Imperial Seal for emergency use.
