A puddle of water had appeared out of nowhere on the previously clean floor.
Ya Bao was the only one in the living room again.
But Ya Bao playing with water... that didn't seem possible...
Qiao Sang was momentarily at a loss.
"Yap."
Ya Bao answered absentmindedly, staring at the fight scene on the television.
Not him...
Qiao Sang had never believed Ya Bao would lie to her, so she immediately thought of several other possible reasons for water to have appeared on the floor for no reason.
A large temperature difference between indoors and outdoors, humid air, dripping from upstairs, leaking pipes in the bathroom or another room, water seeping through the walls and collecting on the floor—any of those were possible.
If this happened often, it was no wonder the rent was so much cheaper. This was probably one of the reasons.
Qiao Sang did not investigate where the problem lay. After wiping the water off the floor, she went to the sofa and watched TV.
A round of the battle match had just ended, and an advertisement was playing.
In the advertisement, a Green Ke Meow Meow was having a candlelit dinner with a fashionably dressed Long Ear Cat.
Just then, the phone on the table rang.
The camera cut to reveal that it was Green Ke Meow Meow's wife, Black Ba Meow, calling.
Since the voices were human dubbing, Qiao Sang could completely understand what they were saying.
Black Ba Meow: "Are you home?"
Green Ke Meow Meow: "I'm home."
Black Ba Meow: "Then why do I hear someone else beside you?"
Green Ke Meow Meow: "Because I'm watching TV."
Black Ba Meow: "My delivery just arrived. Why didn't you open the door?"
Green Ke Meow Meow: "Maybe the TV was too loud.
