By contrast, their attitudes toward pet beasts had also become polarized.
Most people on Superstar Planet believed that pet beasts and humans were different species and had to be suppressed with absolute strength. Otherwise, the slightest carelessness could lead to a backlash and bring ruin upon themselves.
Therefore, people on Superstar Planet were also the harshest toward pet beasts.
