She was a coordinator challenging a country's high school Beast Taming Battle champion. Wasn't that just asking for death?
Why hadn't she figured things out before labeling someone a Coordination Competition champion?
It was all that damn Gene's fault for misleading her!
Though she was baring her teeth internally, she maintained a graceful smile on the surface and said, "Sorry, I thought you were a Coordination Competition champion because of your looks and temperament. I was originally planning to have a coordination match with you."
Rather than stubbornly going through with it to save face, it was better to openly admit her mistake.
Laffey knew very well that the latter would only make her a momentary source of amusement for the class, while the former would turn her into a joke throughout the entire school.
After receiving a round of flattery, Qiao Sang was in a good mood. She smiled and said, "It's fine. If you ever want to have a Beast Taming Battle in the future, feel free to come find me."
Find you? Am I crazy...? Laffey gave a sweet smile. "I will."
Watching this from the side, Tang Yi felt both envious and pleasantly surprised.
Now that he was in the same class as Qiao Sang, didn't that mean he would have more chances to battle her in the future?
After the final class of the morning ended, Class Teacher Mu Deli came over and called Qiao Sang and Tang Yi to the office.
A pet beast with a yellow flower ornament on its head and light-green leaves around its lower body like a skirt stood nearby, holding
