Qiao Sang had considered many things, but she had never expected an accident to occur at the very first step of registration.
"You're a D-rank Pet Tamer. This is an Arena Match for E-Class Beast Tamers, so you can't compete," the staff member said. He glanced at her Pet Tamer Badge without even opening it to check the detailed information, then handed it back and refused her outright.
Qiao Sang froze for a moment. "I was still an E-Class Beast Tamer before ten this morning..."
"But you aren't now." The staff member gave her a sidelong glance. "As long as you're not an E-Class Beast Tamer, you don't meet the registration requirements. If you want to compete, go to the Arena Match for D-rank Pet Tamers on the twenty-first floor."
A towering Black man at least six feet three inches tall standing in the back row chimed in:
"Exactly! A D-rank Pet Tamer coming here—isn't that clearly bullying us?"
Qiao Sang turned to look at him, speechless.
Looking at the young girl before him, who did not even reach his chest and had childishness written all over her face, the Black man felt a little embarrassed. He muttered softly, "I wasn't wrong."
At that moment, a manager who had been watching the commotion walked over and asked, "What's going on?"
The staff member respectfully explained what had happened.
The manager was a woman with black hair and black eyes. She glanced at the Pet Beast in the girl's arms, one she had never seen before, and said, "Register her."
The staff member hesitated. "But that doesn't follow the rules."
The woman smiled. "Rules are dead."
Then she turned to Qiao Sang. "It's fine if you compete, but like an E-Class Beast Tamer, you may only send out two Pet Beasts."
