Qiao Sang waited outside, holding Ya Bao, who had shrunk back down.
"Yap."
Ya Bao rubbed its head against its pet tamer's face.
"I'm fine," Qiao Sang said gently.
She knew Ya Bao was comforting her.
Actually, she had figured it out on the way here. Luobao's Healing Light could treat all illnesses and negative effects caused by skills. Yet Little Treasure hadn't changed under the effects of Healing Light, which meant it was neither an illness nor the result of some skill.
There probably wasn't any particularly serious problem with it.
It was just that Little Treasure's symptoms had never appeared before. The reason she had barely spoken earlier was simply because she had been thinking about what exactly Little Treasure had inhaled.
Just then, the heavy doors opened.
A female doctor in a white coat walked out. Beside her, a white egg-type pet beast pushed a hospital bed, and Little Treasure lay atop it.

Could it have been from the two pet tamers she had sent to the Police Station?
Had they developed resentment because she defeated them?
