In the days that followed, Ting Bao devoured lightning until its evolution seemed imminent, and Qiao Sang sent it outside to release excess Lightning Power.

• Mikala told Qiao Sang that the championship would take place in the Zhidia Region and that only Emperor Level pets would be the main combatants; Doctor Jiang decided to attend in person to watch Lu Bao compete.
• Fang Bao worried that it was no longer the main combatant, so Qiao Sang reassured it and encouraged it to keep eating Energy Meals.
• Ting Bao flew into a sudden lightning storm to devour lightning, while an old woman watched it from a skyscraper rooftop before vanishing.
