At the dining table in the living room, Tingbao had deliberately curled the plate of Energy Meals over to the spot beside its Beast Tamer and ate there.
As it ate, it suddenly curled up a berry from the table and placed it in front of its Beast Tamer, calling out:
"Ting Ting."
Try this. It's tasty.
Qiao Sang's mouth twitched. "I don't eat berries."
Tingbao was a little disappointed, but it did not keep urging its Beast Tamer to try one. Instead, it began eating its Energy Meals.
Just then, Teacher Mikala came downstairs.
Hearing the movement, Tingbao looked up.
The instant it saw who it was, its expression darkened, and arcs of yellow lightning subconsciously flickered across its body.
"Tingbao." Qiao Sang's eyelid twitched as she called out.
"Ting Ting..."
Tingbao came back to its senses, and the lightning around its body disappeared. Still, it shot Teacher Mikala a glare before continuing to eat its Energy Meals.
Teacher Mikala was already used to Tingbao's unfriendly attitude toward her. She was only slightly surprised by where it was sitting. "Why do I feel like the Thunder Dragon has become especially clingy toward you after going out yesterday?"
"Ting Ting."
Tingbao felt uncomfortable just listening to this human speak and let out a cry.
If I don't stick to my own Beast Tamer, am I supposed to stick to you?
Why was Tingbao still so hostile toward Teacher Mikala after everything had already been explained...? Qiao Sang grumbled inwardly, then said, "Maybe it's because I helped it get first place in points yesterday and beat the Earth Dragon. It was happy, so it stayed close to me."
Qiao Sang had already mentioned this last night, so Teacher Mikala did not look surprised.
"Ting Ting."
