Where was this? Mikala frowned and looked around. She couldn't remember, but instinctively felt that something was wrong. She couldn't help looking at Penga Mei beside her and asking with her eyes.
"Peng Peng."
Penga Mei noticed its Beast Tamer's gaze and shook its head blankly.
It didn't know either.
A pleasant experience at Taiwan Novel Network, is super awesome
Mikala's gaze lingered briefly on the differently colored Nether Ring Monarch before she looked at Penga Mei and said, "Let's go back first."
"Peng Peng."
Penga Mei nodded, and blue light rose in its eyes.
Soon, the blue light in its eyes vanished, revealing an astonished expression.
"What's wrong?" Mikala asked.
"Peng Peng."
Penga Mei looked up and cried out, indicating that there was a Barrier above them and it couldn't get out.
"There's actually a Barrier you can't get through?" Mikala's heart sank.
She sensed a crisis she hadn't felt in a long time.
Something was very wrong with this place. Something was very wrong with both her and Penga Mei...
Mikala suddenly thought of something. She looked at the clearly abnormal Nether Ring Monarch before her and asked, "Do you know me?"
Little Seeker looked at the human before it and shook its head:
"Xun Xun~"
It didn't know her.
"Peng Peng." Penga Mei translated.
"Then why did you say just now that I'd forgotten you?" Mikala asked.
"Xun Xun?"
Little Seeker wore a bewildered expression that seemed to say, Did I say that?
"Peng Peng." Penga Mei translated.
Mikala: "..."
"Let's act together for now," Mikala said calmly. "If I'm not mistaken, we should know each other. It's just that we've both lost part of our memories."
If it had only been the differently colored Nether Ring Monarch saying something about forgetting, she wouldn't have believed it.
