Zhendai Bird!

Qiao Sang's heart jolted, and she hurried forward to open the door.

The Zhendai Bird, barely over twenty centimeters tall, stepped inside. It swept its gaze around the Living Room, then gave a dissatisfied cry:

"Zhendai?"

Where was the guy who had invited it here?

"Xun Xun~"

Little Treasure moved closer and lowered its voice as it cried out.

It was asking about Big Brother Yaobao.

Qiao Sang quickly said, "He's sleeping. I'll go wake him up right now."

With that, she hurried into the room and shook Fang Fang awake. "Wake up! The Zhendai Bird is here! Your opponent is here to battle you!"

A battle?

As though a keyword had been triggered, Fang Fang's ears twitched, and it abruptly opened its eyes.

In the Living Room.

"Zhendai."

The Zhendai Bird gave an unhappy cry, asking what was wrong with that guy. It had clearly been invited by him, yet he had gone off to sleep.

"Xun Xun~"

Little Treasure cried out, saying that Big Brother Yaobao had waited for it for ages, but it had taken so long to arrive that he had fallen asleep.

"Zhendai."

The Zhendai Bird snorted coldly.

How had it been a long time? Only a few hours had passed. Clearly, it had not been taken seriously at all.

"Zhendai Bird." A voice sounded from the second floor of the Villa.

The Zhendai Bird looked up and saw a human and another pet beast it had never seen before.

"Zhendai?"

It scrutinized the unfamiliar pet beast, sensing the powerful aura emanating from it. Its expression turned serious as it cried out, asking if it was Yaobao.

Penjia Mei: "???"

"Xun Xun~"

Little Treasure cried out, saying that it was not Big Brother Yaobao.

The Zhendai Bird looked disappointed. So it was not.

She had not expected the Zhendai Bird to really come, and so quickly at that... Mikala stood on the second floor in her pajamas, looking down at the Zhendai Bird as she slowly said, "I want to make a deal with you."

The Zhendai Bird looked up at the speaking human, its expression gradually turning displeased.

That guy called Yaobao had not tricked it into coming here, claiming it was for a battle when it was really for some kind of deal, had he?

Just as it was about to show its displeasure, Qiao Sang came out of the room. Looking toward the second floor, she said in surprise and delight, "Teacher, you're awake. I was about to go upstairs to wake you."

"How could I stay asleep when the Zhendai Bird has already arrived?" Mikala said helplessly.

The Zhendai Bird turned its head and saw yet another pet beast it had never seen before.

"Yaya!"

Fang Fang looked excited as it cried out, saying that it had finally come!

Recognizing the voice, the Zhendai Bird cried out:

"Zhendai?"

You're Yaobao?

"Yaya!"

Fang Fang nodded.

The Zhendai Bird examined it a few times. Sensing the aura it gave off, it frowned and cried out:

"Zhendai?"

Why is your aura so weak?

It was weak? Fang Fang's face darkened as it cried out:

"Yaya!"

You'll find out whether I'm weak once we start fighting.

"Zhendai."

Hearing that, the Zhendai Bird wore an intrigued expression and cried out, saying that they should go now.

"Yaya!"

Fang Fang had no objections. It moved all four limbs and prepared to head toward the Open-air Training Ground.

"Wait." Mikala, standing on the second floor, spoke up.

Fang Fang and the Zhendai Bird looked up at her at the same time.

Mikala looked at the Zhendai Bird and slowly said, "You're an Emperor Level pet beast. Any random skill of yours could cause widespread destruction. Fighting here probably isn't appropriate."

The Zhendai Bird thought about it and found that reasonable. Turning to Fang Fang, it cried out:

"Zhendai."

I know a place where we can battle. I'll take you there.

"Yaya!"

Fang Fang cried out to say that was fine.

"Wait!" Qiao Sang called out.

Fang Fang and the Zhendai Bird looked over.

It seemed this battle could not be stopped... Qiao Sang fell silent for a moment before saying, "Just tell us the location. I'll have Little Treasure use Space Movement to get us there and save time."

"Xun Xun~"

Before the Zhendai Bird could speak, Little Treasure raised a paw and cried out, saying that Little Treasure was right here.

"Zhendai."

The Zhendai Bird glanced at it, nodded, then cried out an address.

"Xun Xun~"

Little Treasure took out its phone and searched for the address to pinpoint the location.

About ten seconds later, Little Treasure's eyes glowed blue.

The next second, the two humans and all the pet beasts vanished from the Living Room.

When light returned to Qiao Sang's vision, she found herself amid ruins. Weeds grew everywhere, and the ground was littered with uneven pits and depressions that looked like they had been caused by battles.

"Zhendai."

The Zhendai Bird looked around, nodded, and cried out, saying that this was a good place.

Qiao Sang walked to Teacher Mikala's side and lowered her voice. "The battle should end quickly. What do we do once the Zhendai Bird leaves? How are we supposed to get its feather?"

In other words, Teacher, hurry up and think of something.

Mikala lowered her voice as well. "I just proposed making a deal with the Zhendai Bird, but judging by its expression, it doesn't seem very willing. Let's wait until its battle with Yan Jiaoou is over. If that doesn't work, we'll have no choice but to obtain it through battle."

Hearing that, Qiao Sang looked at Penjia Mei, which yawned beside them, and relaxed.

Penjia Mei was also an Emperor Level pet beast. Even if it could not win, knocking off a feather should not be a problem.

As the two spoke, Fang Fang braced itself on all fours and assumed a battle stance.

High in the sky, clouds churned as an incomparably massive figure completely blocked out the moon. A pair of wings like clouds hanging from the heavens gave a gentle flap, seeming to stir up a terrifying gale that inspired fear.

So this was the Zhendai Bird's Complete Form... Looking at the gigantic pet beast nearly fifty meters tall in the sky, Qiao Sang's heart involuntarily trembled. For a moment, she found it hard to connect it with the tiny bird-like pet beast that had been barely over twenty centimeters tall just moments ago.

"Zhendai."

The Zhendai Bird cried out from high above, telling Fang Fang to show everything it had as well.

After growing larger, even its voice seemed filled with an irresistible authority.

"Yaya!"

Fang Fang wore a serious expression and Teleported into the air. Then, its body slowly grew until it reached over ten meters in size.

Though Fang Fang was imposing at over ten meters tall, before the nearly fifty-meter Zhendai Bird, it seemed far too small, as though its presence had been completely crushed.

"Yaya!"

Once Fang Fang stopped growing, it gave a forceful cry, saying that it had shown everything it had.

Yet the Zhendai Bird did not begin attacking.

It stared silently at Fang Fang in the distance for several seconds, then suddenly thought of a question and cried out:
