After crushing the Scarlet Energy Ball with its white silk, Spider King He Huang made no further move.

It looked down at Ya Bao and the others from above, as though it cared nothing for what they might do.

Having seen a King-level Pet Beast with her own eyes, Qiao Sang got over her initial shock and began thinking fast.

What Little Treasure had said was probably true. Spider King He Huang and Chao Guang Ma were waiting for another pet beast to arrive.

Until that pet beast arrived, she, Ya Bao, and the others were probably safe.

She had two options.

The first was to attack Chao Guang Ma together before that pet beast arrived. If they could disrupt the energy inside Chao Guang Ma and break the steady flow needed to maintain Space Lock, the seal would disappear.

But there was one uncertainty with that plan.

Spider King He Huang was right beside Chao Guang Ma. That tiny display of power had been terrifying enough. If a fight broke out, who knew whether Chao Guang Ma's energy would falter first or her whole team would be wiped out?

The second option was to wait for the pet beast to arrive, then have Little Treasure use Spatial Movement to escape the instant Space Lock was lifted.

Space Lock not only trapped those inside, it also kept outsiders from entering.

If that pet beast wanted to come in when it arrived, Space Lock would have to be lifted briefly...

Qiao Sang quickly weighed the feasibility and odds of both plans. The second seemed best.
