Background and History

Qiao Sang initially values Water Luliana for her extraordinary healing: she restores the injured Ya Bao in under five seconds. Water Luliana subsequently joins the team. Qiao Sang considers using the pet’s feelings for Ya Bao and a breakup to trigger an evolution, though that plan is presented as a proposal rather than a confirmed cause of one 228 239 255.

Lu Bao becomes preoccupied with catching up to Ya Bao’s strength. Qiao Sang encourages her to train and points out that her Healing Light is already a Super-Level Skill. Over time, Lu Bao and Ya Bao develop better coordination; Lu Bao eventually heals him without being asked 345 517.

Later evolutions remain unusually difficult to secure. Lu Bao evolves into Ice Saint Ya while pursuing an evolution plan centred on experiencing loneliness. She subsequently breaks through what had been considered her species’ evolutionary limit, becoming Bingluo Dimu. A later examination raises concern that her lifespan remains much shorter than that of comparable pet beasts despite the breakthrough 1326 1532 1624.

Appearance

Lu Bao has a gemstone on her forehead that glows when she uses healing or purification skills. She also uses her tail expressively 730 836.

Personality

Lu Bao is usually quiet and composed, but competition with Ya Bao can leave her frustrated about her own progress. She responds by training intensely, at times using Healing Light on herself so she can forgo sleep. Her trust in Qiao Sang also grows: where she once might have left alone to pursue an evolution, she later asks Qiao Sang about it first 345 1245 1319.

She is wary of unwanted contact. When Pei Shipan tries to touch her without permission, she repels him with Water Gun, but still cooperates with the arranged Memory Reading afterward 398.

Abilities & Skills

Healing and purification

• Healing Light restores severe injuries rapidly, including Lu Bao’s own injuries during battle. Its energy cost rises with the damage healed 228 970 1285 1668.
• Purification removes a curse effect during Qiao Sang’s test on Gang Bao. Qiao Sang also tests its ability to purify filthy water 730.

Water movement and weather

• Water Integration lets Lu Bao merge into water, including falling rain, to conceal herself or evade attacks. Her Codex records the trait at S-rank 1538 1666.
• Rain Dance creates conditions that support her Water-based movement. Her recorded Swift Swim trait raises her speed eightfold in rainy weather 592 1538.

Ice combat

• Ice Heaven Domain / Ice Sky Domain freezes a wide area and can immobilize opponents. Lu Bao trains the skill intensively after awakening it 731 819 1666.
• Ice Soul Sky Splitter forms a huge ice-blue attack; its size falls from roughly 100 metres to 70 metres when Decay Mark weakens her Ice energy 1666 1669.
• Absolute Zero, Ice Armor, and Ice Flower Seal provide freezing offense, protection, and battlefield control 963 970 1669.

Relationships

• Qiao Sang — Beast Tamer; supports Lu Bao’s training and pursues the resources needed for her evolutions 345 1326 1515.
• Ya Bao / Fang Bao — teammate and long-standing point of comparison. Their early friction gives way to healing and coordinated battles 345 517 592.
• Little Treasure / Little Seeker — teammate who helps deliver Lu Bao an Awakening Bead; Lu Bao later refuses to help with its anti-freeze training because Qiao Sang is entering the same competition 727 1505.
• Gang Bao — teammate whom Lu Bao treats with Purification and heals when needed 730 1284.
• Shalala / Xia Bao — companion Lu Bao heals while the two travel together through unfamiliar snowy terrain 1527.

• Moonlit Spirit — Lu Bao combines Water Integration with Ice Sky Domain, survives a destructive meteor attack, and recovers with Healing Light. Qiao Sang wins the round 1666 1668.
• Water Abyss Steed — Spirit Binding prevents Qiao Sang from recalling Lu Bao, while Decay Mark weakens her Ice abilities. Her Water Integration remains effective, allowing her to continue fighting 1669.
