Qiao Sang entered Saint Water High School’s intensive training camp, where Fire Fang Dog’s extraordinary growth led to an unexpected evolution into Flame Listening Dog. After Ya Bao impressed the trainers in battle, Qiao Sang joined the Grade Two School Team and began training under Zheng Guoping.

• Fire Fang Dog activated Blaze during the relay race but reached the handoff point after its baton burned away, while Little Treasure Hunting Ghost learned Teleport and later learned Spark Rain.
• Qiao Sang arrived at Saint Water High School’s training camp, where Fire Fang Dog’s Energy Value shocked the trainers and Liu Yao investigated its failure to evolve.
• Liu Yao gave Fire Fang Dog a Flame Evolution Potion, but Fire Fang Dog delayed evolving to avoid missing its endorsement shoot until Qiao Sang arranged for Song Yuan to film the event.
• Fire Fang Dog evolved into the unfamiliar Flame Listening Dog, gaining the Psychic Type and learning to fly with Psychic Power.

Qiao Sang trained Ya Bao and Little Treasure Hunting Ghost while uncovering the Water Luliana hiding at home and learning how to prepare Little Treasure Hunting Ghost for evolution. Her mission to find a missing Ghost-Sucking Lamp led her to suspect it was keeping an elderly woman alive, while the Lamp was revealed to be fighting in an underground competition and to already have a Beast Tamer.

• Qiao Sang trained Ya Bao to compress Flame Vortex, moved into a cheaper house, and discovered that an unseen Water-type Pet Beast was sneaking into the courtyard pool and soaking him.
• Qiao Sang and Ya Bao found the rare, critically endangered Water Luliana, which Little Treasure Hunting Ghost tried to befriend while Ya Bao repeatedly challenged it.
• Qiao Sang collected her reward for helping capture Zhou Xian, named Ya Bao’s evolved form the Flame Listening Dog, and learned Liu Yao’s training method for evolving Little Treasure Hunting Ghost into Ghost Ring Spirit.
• Qiao Sang started Little Treasure Hunting Ghost’s training and accepted a mission to find a missing Ghost-Sucking Lamp, then visited its elderly owner in Xiying Community.
• Qiao Sang learned the old woman had recovered when Mr. Jiang and his family arrived on the same day the Ghost-Sucking Lamp vanished, and Ya Bao’s Tactile Power showed that the old woman had overheard their earlier conversation.
• Liu Yao explained that a Ghost-Sucking Lamp could temporarily leave its wick inside a person to sustain them, though doing so for too long would kill it and removing the wick damaged its foundation.
• Qiao Sang decided to wait for the Ghost-Sucking Lamp after guessing it returned every few days to replenish its wick, while the wickless Lamp defeated a Poisonous Many-Scorpion in an underground competition and left after declining a contract offer.

Qiao Sang returned Ghost-Sucking Lamp to its elderly Beast Tamer, then survived an escape-room crisis involving escaped Wild Pet Beasts, where Ya Bao developed Simultaneous Release. After training Little Treasure Hunting Ghost and showcasing Ya Bao in sparring matches, Qiao Sang received an offer for a paid sparring-partner job.

• Little Treasure Hunting Ghost found the weakened Ghost-Sucking Lamp, and Qiao Sang gave it a Nether Yang Crystal and helped it reunite with its elderly Beast Tamer.
• Qiao Sang learned that Ghost-Sucking Lamp’s memories had shaped Little Treasure Hunting Ghost’s dream, then returned the lamp to the old woman and received her Pet Tamer Badge.
• Qiao Sang began training Ya Bao and Little Treasure Hunting Ghost with Energy Meals, while Little Treasure Hunting Ghost resolved to train harder after its dream.
• Qiao Sang took Ya Bao to the Lost Town escape room, where real escaped Wild Pet Beasts trapped the group and prevented pet recalls.

• Xie Yang offered Qiao Sang a partnership to sell Fire Fang Dogs, but she declined to focus on studying and instead asked Ye Xiangting to consider opening a Pet Shop.
• After Shi Gaofeng’s disguise earned a One-Star Review, Qiao Sang reconsidered her goals and set Little Treasure Hunting Ghost to learn Ghost Fire while Ya Bao unexpectedly mastered Teleport.
