Li Jingtai slapped himself hard twice. "You idiot! You absolute idiot!"
She was right. He really was an idiot. He couldn't do anything well, couldn't do anything perfectly, and was completely unworthy of her.
"What are you doing?"
When Su Qiao pushed open the door, she saw him sitting on the floor with his back to her, wildly slapping his own face.
After a moment of shock, she hurried inside.
"Why are you hitting yourself? Is it because you broke the computer?"
As she questioned him, Su Qiao reached out, gripped his chin, and lifted his head.
The five red finger marks on his cheek made her frown.
"I... I accidentally knocked the computer onto the floor."
Li Jingtai hadn't expected her to come in so suddenly. He pushed her hand away in a panic and began gathering up the broken computer and mouse from the floor.
Su Qiao directly snatched away the broken computer and threw it onto the floor in annoyance.
"So it broke, so what? I'll buy you another one. Why are you hitting yourself?"
What an idiot.
"No, I... I..."
Li Jingtai stammered for a long while before finally finding an excuse.
"There are novels in it that I haven't published yet, and the script is in there too."
"That's easy. As long as the hard drive isn't damaged, it'll be fine."
Su Qiao thought his behavior was unbelievably stupid.
She held out her hand. "Get up. I'll take care of it for you later. I definitely won't let any of your files disappear."
"And next time you run into trouble, come to me. Don't do something only an idiot would do."
It wasn't as though they lacked the money to buy a computer. Was there any need to hurt himself over such a trivial matter?
