"Is there a restroom or something around here?"
There were people coming and going in the corridor too, which put Su Qiao in a difficult position.
Xiao Si was just about to speak when a voice suddenly came from behind them.
Su Qiao slowly turned around.
It turned out to be the supposedly very famous actress, Jiang Aiyun.
"I really didn't expect you to be this capable."
Jiang Aiyun's face was livid, and she glared at Su Qiao with undisguised hostility.
Su Qiao didn't back down at all. She said calmly, "I'm just a new actress who's only recently entered the film industry. I can't compare with Miss Jiang."
Jiang Aiyun had intended to warn her a few times, but when the corner of her eye caught sight of Director Yu walking over, she could only lower her voice and say, "It's good that you know your place. You'd better understand your own identity!"
Su Qiao glanced at her and ignored her completely.
Director Yu came over with a broad smile. "What are you two talking about? Xiao Man performed very well today!"
"Thank you for the compliment, Director Yu." Su Qiao smiled faintly, without the slightest trace of smugness.
Director Yu reached out and patted her shoulder encouragingly. "Keep it up. I have high hopes for you."
Su Qiao moved a small step away without drawing attention to it. "Thank you."
Jiang Aiyun glanced at Su Qiao, then smiled and slipped her arm through Director Yu's:
"Director Yu, I still have a few questions I'd like to ask you. How about we have a meal together?"
"Sure."
Director Yu nodded, then turned to Su Qiao. "Why don't you come with us too, Xiao Man?"
Su Qiao hurriedly waved her hands. "No, I have something urgent to take care of.
