By then, it was getting dark, and he was driving slowly. At a glance, he spotted the young girl in the middle of the road, her long hair streaming in the wind and her white dress fluttering.
For some reason, he suddenly became worried that passing cars might hit her, so he quietly parked near the two people arguing about something, completely unaware of their surroundings.
For one thing, he blocked the danger of passing vehicles hitting her. For another, at the time, he simply wanted to know what they were arguing about. He was curious and wanted to listen.
As a result... the more he listened, the angrier he became. If not for his powerful self-control, he actually would have preferred to walk over and use his own methods to make that man shut up forever.
