"Forget it. I don't have anything on hand right now. I'd originally planned to save these two pearls to make a necklace for my wedding, but then I thought about it. I don't usually wear things like that anyway, so keeping them would be pointless."
Guo Yuan smiled and went along with her words. "Miss Su, when you get married, be sure to let me know. As an old friend, how could I possibly be absent?"
"Sure." If that day ever comes, I'll definitely invite you. Unfortunately, I'm afraid you won't live to see it.
"When should we take care of the house transfer? I'm moving in the next couple of days."
Guo Yuan placed the pearls in the safe and hurriedly said, "We can do it now. I know someone, so it'll be quick."
"Good. Then let's go now."
Su Qiao stood up and waved at Xiao An, who was by the kitchen door.
Guo Yuan said courteously, "Would you like me to have someone come clean the place and take care of the sanitation? We could also replace some of the old furniture while we're at it."
Su Qiao raised a hand to refuse. "No need. I'll handle it myself."
"Xiao An, are you coming out with me or staying home?"
Yu Shengan glanced toward Guo Yuan and said softly, "With you."
"That works. We can get some fresh air, and if we have time, we can buy a car too."
They had been busy these past two days and hadn't gone out at all.
Once they decided to leave, the group quickly headed out and went downstairs.
Guo Yuan had driven two cars over, so there was more than enough room.
Su Qiao and Yu Shengan sat in the back car.
She nudged him. He had kept
